Baling Hay | How We Do It On The Homestead

Today I'm taking you along to show you the process we use for raking and baling hay. We are using two NH tractors and a NH BR7070 baler. Rake is just a standard 8 wheel v rake.

Thank you. That baler is worn out and needs replaced but it still makes a nice looking bale

Around here in Southwest Missouri $25 is about right I did some for a neighbor the other day for 20. The main grass is fescue on first cutting some orchard grass and then in July and August into September Bermuda is King. I do have quite a bit of quick and big Crabgrass And red clover. I sure do like it.

That's great. I would love to have some large Bermuda fields. Makes wonderful hay for the cows
