I watch Sorin because of his electronics knowledge and his ability to explain things in terms that is unbelievably easy to understand. If his repair technique doe not agree with me I do not use it. Pretty simple. No need to broadcast it to the world. The knowledge he shares and the way he shares it is invaluable, not many technicians doing content make understanding and trouble shooting as accessible as Sorin does.

Thanks Sorin. I just follow the steps and fix my iphone 7. You are right, no need to use jumpers, at least for now.
I used a simple hot air station, 380-400C degrees and 25-30% airflow. No more tools! Thanks for keep it simple.

this guy is right. hand on heart, has anyone been able to fix their apple product from watching channels like louis rossmann without buying their recommended gear? even after buying their overpriced recommendations were you still left with a broken product? at least this guy gives the ordinary person tips on how to fix their own electronics with equipment they already own. i can say i'm more likely to try fix my electronics from watching this channel than others on youtube. and i refuse to buy the rebelling machine that louis rossmann himself don't know how to operate properly.

Sorin, I have to say that you are one of the best technicians I have had the pleasure of seeing. You have made me better. Do not listen to other people who are jealous of your skill. Thank you for sharing and teaching us. I have the utmost respect for you. I am also an engineer fixing mostly projectors and projection systems without schematics. Because of you, I have expanded my thinking and my abilities. Thank you again.

Well said Sorin, People learning or working on a budget really appreciate your methods, And they work. Not forgetting your customers are happy when you offer them a cheap repair.

Your points are well taken! From the industrial side... Many times the customer needs it yesterday! Fix it NOW... if needed order the "proper" parts tomorrow. I applaud you and your ability to repair so much with so little (equipment)!

You do things the practical way that are cost effective for the customer and based on the value of the item being repaired.
I love watching the way you use your years of knowledge and logic to track down the faults.
Who cares the way others do their jobs, or what they think, you know your customer base better than they do.
And anyway, we know you're the best.

Mr Sorin, since you channel is public, you have to expect such reactions or criticism from people - esspecially from people that don't know you personally. I believe the great majority of the viewers and subscribers support what you do. For me you are my teacher and I support you. You have to keep your head high, in public these things happen, don't worry about it. you are the best, and everybody that follows you know that you are the best. You are the first channel I ever subscribed in youtube. Love from Greece.

Sorin, thanks for everything you do! My Amscope came yesterday. Very excited! Now I can separate those darned wifi cable connectors that I keep bending. I'm not quite ready for reflowing audio chips on an iphone 7.😱. I also run into stuck, rusted screws in laptops from the tropics. I would ignore the jumper experts. If they're such experts they should start their own channel. Keep up the great work and I loved watching your lady friend!

Thank you for the videos Sorin. I have been in the repair game for over 20yrs - many people don't have the money for expensive repairs - but they really appreciate it when a cheap repair is done for them. Hello Sorin, in the US we have a name for people that criticize content creators like you on TH-cam, "Trolls". I can tell that at least one of them has really irritated you by watching this video. There is an other channel I enjoy watching that occasionally has this problem and the creator blocks them (Carry Holzman). There is no reason for you to have to put up with other people who haven't even made their own video's criticizing the excellent FREE content that you are providing. Just look at how many positive comments you have on this video alone! Love your video's. Don't let the Trolls get to you, block them. Thanks for sharing your work & wisdom with us.

Lynette Gibson, I agree that sorin really needs to ignore the haters, it's a shame that he lets them sour his mood :-(
I think you are being a bit harsh with louis rossmann, he has skill and has made so many videos about repairing apple laptops, great if someone wants to get an understanding of repair methods and soldering.
No one is perfect, learn what you need and mentally filter out the bits you don't :-D

Louis Rossman is fixing only macbooks cause you can easily find schematics-boardview and parts also! If you start doing this for other laptops in many ways does not worth it! You can ask Louis if it is worth doing it for other laptops then macbooks and you will see what he will answer! Sorin has his way of fixing things and i approve him cause the customers dont pay the same as they would do for a macbook! Louis Itself told that he dosent repair graphic cards cause its not about reballing or reflowing but on the chip itself! You pay 600usd for a good laptop and pay 1900 with the same specs for a macbook! Before you guys judge sorin ask yourself how much would you pay to fix the 600usd laptop and how much for the macbook?

My first comment on your channel.
First of all , i would like to thank you for your effort explaining thing on a much simple basis. I am working from home, lets say freelance for like 6 years. Only on recommendation. Mostly screen and other parts replacement, have friends/colleagues who do the microsoldering for me. And you sir are the reason I invested in heat gun. Your channel gave me a base where to start. I am really grateful for your videos.
As for the other people complaining i will tell you a joke : You know how many guitarists it takes to change a light bulb ?
    -11.
1 to replace the lightbulb and other 10 to tell him that they can do better.
So keep up the good work and don't mind hatefull people.
    My regards.

READ THIS! Hello from Southern California. I know your busy so I hope you have the time to read this. So i'm the kind of person who fixes everything within reason, or at least try I'll say. I spend hours and hours toying with micro soldering and watching youtube videos from all around from Louis Rossman, STS Com, Jessa, ect. I have to say you my friend just may be my favorite! You need common sense to navigate thru life, common sense is not a common virtue, and you must take everything with a grain of salt. I've been trying to figure out which youtube micro solder tech is my favorite and it's been hard to decide. I do like Rossman and his F-apple attitude, I'm just not sure I can afford to hang out with him, we live paycheck to paycheck. You strike me as a well rounded person, a real person not fake like so many people in this world. I wanted to say thank you for your time and experiences you've shown us, we love your videos and will continue to watch them. Your a great technician and I've learned so much from you and I think it's important that you know that we appreciate you! And it's not just me my friend, I know there's a large following who feel the same. Thank you so much we love you!!

How can we be certain that the jumper is the permanent solution to the issue? The pad may have come loose as a result of removing the chip rather than flex. Also, the issue may not be a result of flex alone, it may be a combination of flex and a poorly balled chip. These videos are great! Very simple methods and tools. Keep fighting the good fight Sorin!

Sorin hi, If what you show is "homework" , I would like you to speak your mind more ,as in "class" , WHILE you work. Because many times I ask myself why did he go to this or that chip etc, so if you verbalize your thinking we would have Class & Homework at the same time. But you're the best , most fitting to pro and hobbiests (like me) . Keep them coming ! Love it

I never note any of what the commentators are saying, they are all armchair experts, never held a soldering iron in the life but very good in passing judgment on your work

Most people think that having expensive tools that they can't afford is the only way to fix things.
They lack experience it's plain and simple yet they preach to others how it's suppose to be done.
    Ignore the idiots.

Don't get angry Sorin. When someone send you links, ask them to send video how they do it. It is very easy to show how other people do it. Regards, Yanko
