I love your videos but two things about this one. First, why didn't you check FL4211 in the first place? This is the most common reason for backlight failure and also the easiest fix. Second, you didn't replace chestnut. Chestnut is U4000 on the other side of the board. You replaced U3300, stobe/flashlight boost IC. Glad it worked though.
Hello friend the chesnut on 6s is in the other side U4000 not the ic you have removed not related at all to lcm lines, that one is for rear camera flash. Thanks a lot for your videos you teach me a lot.
Sorin nice 👍🏻 I was watching the video and I did throw manny iPhone in the garbage can I can’t do it with out breaking something else. You are really good. Thank you 🙏
Excellent instruction! However, I've wondered why you use soldering paste on the iphone chips instead of the liquid solder that you make from kalafonia and alcohol. As you instructed, I use that mixture exclusively. Does it not work well on smd chips?
Thank you Sorin, yet another great video!!! I swear I'm go to start a GoFundMe for tweezers for you 😂 Where does one buy those resistors/filters in the UK?
My laptop was not turning on and also my adapter was blinking then I tried mentioned methods in lenovo forums I removed battery, removed Cmos connector, then held power button for one minute and then without connecting battery provided a direct power to laptop, it blinked for But it blinked for a second and then went dead. Then on youtube a guy showed a step "to remove keyboard connector flex and then turning it on by novo switch and it worked. So now keyboard is dead but laptop is working. Is there any way to solve the issue Kindly help
@@rajatthakur9091 What is the model number? One way which may work will be: Remove battery of laptop, remove bios battery and plug in your laptop, it may start. According to sorin in one of his video. Ofc do this on your own risk.
Hello esteemed professor, my phone is Samsung, the screen is black and there is flickering in the screen with ringing and the LED is blue and green simultaneously

How do you know value of resistor?
Loving all these videos

Thank you Sorin

Salute ur really great on electronics, thanks for sharing your knowledge only God bless you
What soldering iron and tip is that?
nice video!
my question is how do you know that its a resistor?
not a capacitor for example
From boardview program
@@techmonster2632 thx
Really was a fuse, not a resistor or capacitor
why you dont replace the resistor with your proper fuse :D
I did the same press too much on chip and squeeze a tin under chip out. and resistor that small it is easier to soldeer with soldering pen
Does it matter which way round the chip is soldered or can it be 180 degrees round and still work?
1 question Sorin, how do you remember where all the screws go?
Thanks
Good question i have trouble remembering
Mucsle memory he knows models and type of screw he knows where it is belong.

lost of tweezers..i want to use your tweezers too so i magically become like your skill...
Good job!A hard one!
This guy is good
Ive stopped using kapton as
i thought it was holding heat into board, like tin foil! Not letting the heat escape
Superi sar thanks
That looked a fancy fuse 😂😁
Hello Sorin
Are you sure that resistor wasn't a jumping bean lol :-D
Hey Sorin you can level the balls by sanding them with a sheet of paper on the table.
that will first shave and second hurt a lot ...

Hello Master lets go 100k
Maybe hot tweezers would make such a small pain in the butt job a little easier

i would use a file and file the tweezers head to become a needle tweezers head
More Awesomeness...
Sorin new video Iphone repair let's watch...
That is not chestnut IC that is flash ic, you have only backlight problem. Chastnut ic is on the other side of the board.
You re lucky.not using soldiering balls or stencil but it's even working.when i did it many times reballing needed
Don't buy hot twizzers Sorin, its really rubish and waste money, better use two thin soldering irons.
Where is the rosin, who has it ehh¡¡¡¡¡??? that fake flux seems to not work....i so stressed...ejej

Sorin give me your shorts! #repairspree #dasnotgud #finallyfriday #givemeasecond
