3:56 - If you have a good size screwdriver (flat head) or similar hardy object, put that up against where the metal is soldered together and hit the back of the screwdriver with the hammer. It's much more effective, we do this all the time in the electrical field as we have to deal with similar knockouts constantly. Just a neat little trick.

why? when trading is available you'll be able to use sites like The Silph Road to see if anyone is coming to your area and has something worth trading. Just because you can't travel doesn't mean other people won't.
I live in a pretty rural area, I ain't got much of chance to find someone trading a Mr.Mime, Kangaskhan, Farfetched, Heracross or Corsola in my neighborhood.
There will be a new level cap at some point, and hopefully any experience you gain after lvl 40 will be retroactively added once the new cap is in place.
You hatch eggs for better chances at good to perfect IV pokemon. You also get more candy and stardust to help potentially power up your best pokemon for the gym metagame. Finally, as previously mentioned on the other reply, you still earn XP at trainer level 40, it just doesn't count towards the next level because of the cap, but should the cap ever get raised that could change. The cap is pokemon level 100 in most if not all of the main series Pokemon games. There is no trainer level per se, but you have to complete gym badges (in the previous gen) and trials (in the latest gen) to effectively use higher level pokemon in battle.
I would love it if Niantic added a Snorlax hat/hoodie/shirt item to the ingame shop where if you bought that item/s that money would go to the areas affected that are getting these rare spawn events.

If the legendary event makes it hard for rural players to participate in I'm done. It's already hard enough that I get crappy Pokemon spawns and one Pokestop near me. Same goes for the trading. I was really hoping I could trade some of my Tauros to desperate players in other regions.
While I understand your concerns about Pokestops And agree there should be more; I can't really get behind your feelings on legendary pokemon and trading. Pokemon GO is a living breathing MMO and diluting immersion just to appease specific or niche groups will ruin everything that makes it unique and fun. Not everyone is entitled to a legendary and online trading would not only undermine the social philosophy of the game but make it vulnerable to abuse by spoofers and people who spam accounts. That would ruin the game for litteraly everyone on the planet and not just rural players.
RANT it is incredibly stupid that Niantic "surprises" is with these international events! Plane tickets are incredibly expensive the later you wait. If they would stop being "cute" and just give us a real heads up people could actually go without being incredibly rich with no binding work schedule!! People can't just cancel all their plans within a week or two and drop an extra 300$ on plane tickets because they wanted to surprise us with a last minute event announcement

What pisses me off is such short notice. I doubt that many can drop everything in their lives and book a trip to Japan for the event. Would be nice if they had a calendar for half a year in advance for those events, that we, normal people, with other life responsibilities could book our holidays and trips to Japan or elsewhere during those events. I for one would have loved to go to Japan for this event, but who would let me out for holiday at work in such short notice, and I would need to take out a mortgage to book the trip so soon

I love that they are helping our rural players finally, I am kind of in between my town has pokestops far apart from each other that you lose out on a lot of pokemon, but close enough that you radar always shows pokestops. An real example here is that there is a cyndaquil nest with no stops close enough to show the cyndaquils but are within the radius of the nest that you never see cyndaquil on the nearby. I want them to find a way to show both, maybe a page that has nearby/sightings similar to pokebank/eggs.
As an electrical and mechanical engineer, watching your DIY is as much fun as watching the pokemon. i like the personal stuff, i think it helps with the channel massively. Keep up the good work. And download a domestic wiring guide.

It has come to the attention of myself and others that during the Lapras event in Japan, Lapras stopped spawning and hatching in other places. So...farewell Snorlax for the duration of the event.
Use 12/2 wire, get a piece of SJ rubber cord (looks like extension cord). It needs a connector to your box to secure it, use a 1/2" cable clamp connector (make it snug, but do not over-tighten). On the receptacle: Black goes around the brass screw, white goes around the silver, and bare copper around the green screw. Make sure it's tight! Wrap electrical tape all around the outside (over the screws) when you're done ... But I highly recommend you have someone who's trained come take a look at what you're doing, you might screw up and ruin your electronics, or cause a fire.
I don't get what so hard about trading, all the system have to do is present both pokemons CP, level , or probably IVs and trade won't commence until both sides have confirmed the pokemon they're getting.

dude here in the netherlands there are never rare or uncommon pokemon. At 6:00 theres a granbull , ponyta and squirtle.. . I wouldve lost my mind when i saw those pokemon.. . Here the rarest pokemon are psyduck and poliwag..

You need to stop caring about the people who get pokemon easily (cheating or no, since for allot of people having the money to travel on a whim is the same as spoofing, just using different methods) and start caring about the people who actually can't travel no matter what, the child stuck in the hospital bed, the one who's parents work 2 jobs and can't travel, the one who work themselfs and cant go either cuz money or job, you need to start caring about the ones who actually suffer with these exclusive decisions

Pokemon Go is supposed to be hard. Make it too easy and the game is finished. Took me 4 months to get an Lapras, 3 months to get a Togapi, and I only have ONE evolution item. Glad they removed ALL the outside trackers, it was too easy getting the rares.
9:52 to be quite honest, I feel like the phrase "go out and explore" in terms of PoGo is becoming taboo to rural players. as a former rural player, I know how it felt to have such limited amount of pokemon available for you. The pokemon you'll see are probably the same pokemon that others would see in cities. And it's not like rares or special pokemon (like those with high IV's) spawn more in rural areas compared to those in the city. The trading module needing people to be in close proximity really hurts the rural players. because really, who in the world would go to rural areas to exchange for a Pidgeot or a Raticate? Would you hear someone say, "hey I like your Raticate, I would like to trade with you". I mean really? What can rural players offer for trading so that people would go as far as far flung places just to make the trade? 14:08 lol your example of "cities around the world" is just within the US.
Ariel Dapito im rural and ive had amazing spawns these past couple days. I closed my game and opened it up an hour later and before the game updated there was a wild dragonite. Rural players have more than pidgeots and raticates now

I really hope for the sake of countries with cold climate, that they release gen 2 in summer or early autumn. I live in Sweden and as of now it's really cold and the weather is really bad. If they want to increase their playerbase again they should drop big updates summertime so that countries with real seasons can play without huge effort. Love the videos btw

I hate the fact this game keeps pooping on the solo and poor players, not everyone has friends to play with, not everyone WANTS to play with other people, and MOST people don't have money to travel to other countries for events, I find this extremly unfair for the little guys and a great lack of consideration from Niantic

This event wouldn't have happened if that area of Japan wasn't hit by an earthquake. I'm a solo player but believe me when I say playing with friends makes the game fun and exciting. When you find something rare or you work together to take down a gym etc then you get to share your thoughts and feelings. Problem is everyone has quit at this point but oh well I still play.
Minnesota was hit by a nasty snow storm where's my articuno? But I agree I don't even have access to less then 50 of gen 1 Pokémon I didn't even count for gen 2 but basically I know for a fact I caught all I physically can of gen one in my town. Meanwhile others are swimming in totadile or scyther even my favorite latvitar I can't travel everywhere especially outside of the US I'm lucky to be able to go to Florida and California this year
my friends think the game is dumb. I rather just work alone. I've never been a team player because I've always found people not to due their share of the work and I'm left doing 2 people's work.
For the outlet you need to pigtail the white wires from another outlet, or bring the wires from the new outlet to the panel (be careful, only do any wiring when breaker is off). The white wire(neutral) goes to the silver terminal, and the black wire (hot) goes to the brass terminal. It also helps to ground the box to the device. Do a 3 way splice using a wing nut/wire nut with three wires(extra wire to box, wire coming from cable, another extra wire going to device). Hope that helps, any other questions feel free to ask! :)

I really hope that trading is set up as like a "board" system where the trade menu shows you trades people are looking to make when they pass within few miles of you. People would be safe from potential danger at that distance, and it would be convenient for rural players like me
I kinda like this one idea I came up with for trading. Make it sort of like a gym and pokestop. Drop off a Pokémon you are willing to trade and what you want in return. Someone can then go by and offer up theirs and the one who put their Pokémon in there can accept, decline, or even a counter offer. But you don't have to keep going back to that "trade post"
Although japan's death count was low the injury count magnitude and (not sure about this last one) damage cost were higher, Earthquakes happened more frequently in japan in the past 7 years (total death count in the thousands), Pokemon came from japan, and Niantic is unfortunately only one company with one wildly successful game.

Looks like You're just powering small electronics so 14/3 will be fine rated for 15 amps, which will be more than enough for what you are using it for. Black wire will go on the gold screw. I personally am not salty about the Snorlax event because I already caught a couple of them and hatched one. Besides, when you think about it, South Florida has the most regional exclusives (Tauros, Heracross, and Corsola) so we really don't have anything to complain about.

Not sure if the Snorlax event in Kumamoto will draw the same crowds as the Lapras event in Ishinomaki. As a resident of Japan, I can tell you that Snorlax is a LOT more common and (easier to catch) than Lapras. Still, I hope the event is a success and helps out the Kumamoto area. They have a wonderful castle there that took some major damage. It would be nice to see that get repaired soon.
Solution to Trading: The Zoku app ("Find your tribe") can be useful to team up for gym battles and cooperative placement. It uses Bluetooth to make yourself locally visible to whatever team you choose. Niantic could also use that same technology for future trading. I think it is actually the solution.

Nick, I believe the "Save your candies" involves the trading system that's coming. In order to trade a Pokemon, you must have 3 candies to give with your Pokemon.
i love your channel! i am an American living in South Korea so not too long ago we finally got Pokemon Go here so slowly but surely going up in Level. i hear all about update news and events from you. here in South Korea they put a lot more Pokestops in collaboration with 7-Elevens and a cafe called Angelinus which is pretty cool. hoping for Korea and the general Seoul area to spawn more Pokemon cause it is definitely a little harder.
Oh dear god. Here we go again. Proximity trading could potentially be dangerous to players. You must set up a meeting with potentially someone you don't know. Yeah, that won't cause any mugging so.... I go back to the main series game to point out how stupid this is. Did you really trade more in one to one trading face to face or did you use GTS? I certainly used GTS way more than face to face. Why? Because the option of putting a Pokemon up for trade looking for a set other Pokemon in exchange is simple and could allow gamers to complete their dex. Get one thing clear, the vast vast majority of players can't afford to travel the world. Fact!!!!!

meh, I am not excited for legendaries in the slightest, cause I know no matter how many events they will hold, not a single one of them will be in Finland...mostly 80% US, 10% Japan, 10% rest of the world with just the biggest cities
MissHannahSymonds I live in the US, and unless one comes to Pittsburgh (even then, that's about an hour and a half away), I won't be seeing one either. Niantic refuses to comprehend that not everyone is a TH-cam content creator who makes videos and plays Pokemon GO 24/7. Most of us have 8-5 jobs, school, etc. Finding time to travel on a specific day, to a specific location at a specific time is virtually unrealistic. If the events aren't held on weekends, that's pandering to who, the unemployed? If they are held on weekends, I'm almost positive they won't be nearby. Driving 2-3 hours to catch a pixel for a phone app is a tad extreme. They need to just make it a week long event where the Pokemon can spawn anywhere, and once you've caught one on that account, you won't see it spawn again. Sure, it's not as exciting in the manner of a massive event everyone travels to, but it's a more plausible method for making sure everyone who wants one can readily obtain it. Niantic is treating this like a Con event, i.e. Blizzcon. Except Blizzard doesn't give powerful items for paying to go to their event, they give aesthetics. Getting a Mewtwo is a massive upgrade to any arsenal, not just aesthetic.
day 1 of gen 2 I found myself sitting in a Houndour nest, 350 candies in two days + all the Murkrow and Sneezle spawning in the same place I got the Dark badge in 3 days oops.
Lol, I played a ton during the valentines event. Didn't see a single one of the more rare ones. Only clefairy, jigglypuff, and eggecute. Good thing they tried to help rural players.
Hey Nick, I just thought I'd share that I caught a Ditto disguised as a Sentret while watching today's video. I wasn't able to get a screenshot before it transformed because I didn't really expect anything when I caught it. This was the first time I got a Ditto disguised as Gen 2 Pokémon so I thought it would be cool to share. Love the videos btw! :)

You can't leave outlet terminals exposed, need to cover it with a box. Use BX cable with ground, safer, to run from leg outlet to wall outlet. Need to get a outlet box extension for the wall outlet, attach BX cable to wall extension, run wire to outlet. Be sure to attach ground. AND DO ALL THIS WITH WITH THE POWER OFF!!!
I went to the big city last Friday where there's Pokestops like every 2 steps so I went from my usual pretty much empty bag to "your bag is full" (and I have space for 650 items) and still not a single evo item.. I've only had one so far and that was on the day of gen 2's release.

At one point you talked about Ingress events using a code to get rid of possible spoofers? How about something similar, just not tied to a location? Like, if you are signed up, you get an email with a code that makes the legendary pokemon appear near your location (not you having to GO TO a location) This would benefit rural players, and devalue spoofing at the same time
I'm a rural player and just this past week alone, I've found 2 blisseys, a typlosion, a skarmory, a larvitar, 2 mareeps, and a donphan, pupitar, and togetic all within walking distance of my house (though the last 3 ran away on my first throw :/) I got lucky, but the lack of pokestops in rural areas is still annoying
I got a King's Rock from a pokestop on the 2nd day of gen 2 release (not in a 7 day bonus btw) and 2 weeks later I happened to be back at the same pokestop and received another King's Rock. If it hasn't been said already, I think that the items may be have a better chance to drop at certain pokestops like the theory of finding a "10k egg" more often at certain pokestops.
Sunday Q&A Question: Do you think there is a chance that the change to the gym battle system might involve an option where ALL of the Pokemon in a gym can be battled at the same time, and each trainer in a group that is attacking the gym would use a Pokemon of their choice to battle one of the Pokemon in the gym? 3:56 - If you have a good size screwdriver (flat head) or similar hardy object, put that up against where the metal is soldered together and hit the back of the screwdriver with the hammer. It's much more effective, we do this all the time in the electrical field as we have to deal with similar knockouts constantly. Just a neat little trick.

You hatch eggs for better chances at good to perfect IV pokemon. You also get more candy and stardust to help potentially power up your best pokemon for the gym metagame.
Finally, as previously mentioned on the other reply, you still earn XP at trainer level 40, it just doesn't count towards the next level because of the cap, but should the cap ever get raised that could change.
The cap is pokemon level 100 in most if not all of the main series Pokemon games. There is no trainer level per se, but you have to complete gym badges (in the previous gen) and trials (in the latest gen) to effectively use higher level pokemon in battle.

While I understand your concerns about Pokestops And agree there should be more; I can't really get behind your feelings on legendary pokemon and trading. Pokemon GO is a living breathing MMO and diluting immersion just to appease specific or niche groups will ruin everything that makes it unique and fun. Not everyone is entitled to a legendary and online trading would not only undermine the social philosophy of the game but make it vulnerable to abuse by spoofers and people who spam accounts. That would ruin the game for litteraly everyone on the planet and not just rural players.
RANT it is incredibly stupid that Niantic "surprises" is with these international events! Plane tickets are incredibly expensive the later you wait. If they would stop being "cute" and just give us a real heads up people could actually go without being incredibly rich with no binding work schedule!! I swear if they pull this last minute announcement crap with Legendaries they really are just a crap company. People can't just cancel all their plans within a week or two and drop an extra 300$ on plane tickets because they wanted to surprise us with a last minute event announcement

Nothing about the event suggests it is for an international audience. If it was there would have been announcements in multiple languages.
I love that they are helping our rural players finally, I am kind of in between my town has pokestops far apart from each other that you lose out on a lot of pokemon, but close enough that you radar always shows pokestops. An real example here is that there is a cyndaquil nest with no stops close enough to show the cyndaquils but are within the radius of the nest that you never see cyndaquil on the nearby. I want them to find a way to show both, maybe a page that has nearby/sightings similar to pokebank/eggs.
As an electrical and mechanical engineer, watching your DIY is as much fun as watching the pokemon. i like the personal stuff, i think it helps with the channel massively. Keep up the good work. And download a domestic wiring guide.

It has come to the attention of myself and others that during the Lapras event in Japan, Lapras stopped spawning and hatching in other places. So...farewell Snorlax for the duration of the event.
Use 12/2 wire, get a piece of SJ rubber cord (looks like extension cord). It needs a connector to your box to secure it, use a 1/2" cable clamp connector (make it snug, but do not over-tighten). On the receptacle: Black goes around the brass screw, white goes around the silver, and bare copper around the green screw. Make sure it's tight! Wrap electrical tape all around the outside (over the screws) when you're done ... But I highly recommend you have someone who's trained come take a look at what you're doing, you might screw up and ruin your electronics, or cause a fire.

You need to stop caring about the people who get pokemon easily (cheating or no, since for allot of people having the money to travel on a whim is the same as spoofing, just using different methods) and start caring about the people who actually can't travel no matter what, the child stuck in the hospital bed, the one who's parents work 2 jobs and can't travel, the one who work themselfs and cant go either cuz money or job, you need to start caring about the ones who actually suffer with these exclusive decisions

Pokemon Go is supposed to be hard. Make it too easy and the game is finished. Took me 4 months to get an Lapras, 3 months to get a Togapi, and I only have ONE evolution item. Glad they removed ALL the outside trackers, it was too easy getting the rares.
9:52 to be quite honest, I feel like the phrase "go out and explore" in terms of PoGo is becoming taboo to rural players. as a former rural player, I know how it felt to have such limited amount of pokemon available for you. The pokemon you'll see are probably the same pokemon that others would see in cities. And it's not like rares or special pokemon (like those with high IV's) spawn more in rural areas compared to those in the city.
The trading module needing people to be in close proximity really hurts the rural players. because really, who in the world would go to rural areas to exchange for a Pidgeot or a Raticate? Would you hear someone say, "hey I like your Raticate, I would like to trade with you". I mean really? What can rural players offer for trading so that people would go as far as far flung places just to make the trade?

Ariel Dapito im rural and ive had amazing spawns these past couple days. I closed my game and opened it up an hour later and before the game updated there was a wild dragonite. Rural players have more than pidgeots and raticates now

I really hope for the sake of countries with cold climate, that they release gen 2 in summer or early autumn. I live in Sweden and as of now it's really cold and the weather is really bad. If they want to increase their playerbase again they should drop big updates summertime so that countries with real seasons can play without huge effort.

I hate the fact this game keeps pooping on the solo and poor players, not everyone has friends to play with, not everyone WANTS to play with other people, and MOST people don't have money to travel to other countries for events, I find this extremly unfair for the little guys and a great lack of consideration from Niantic

This event wouldn't have happened if that area of Japan wasn't hit by an earthquake. I'm a solo player but believe me when I say playing with friends makes the game fun and exciting. When you find something rare or you work together to take down a gym etc then you get to share your thoughts and feelings. Problem is everyone has quit at this point but oh well I still play.
Minnesota was hit by a nasty snow storm where's my articuno? But I agree I don't even have access to less then 50 of gen 1 Pokémon I didn't even count for gen 2 but basically I know for a fact I caught all I physically can of gen one in my town. Meanwhile others are swimming in totadile or scyther even my favorite latvitar I can't travel everywhere especially outside of the US I'm lucky to be able to go to Florida and California this year

For the outlet you need to pigtail the white wires from another outlet, or bring the wires from the new outlet to the panel (be careful, only do any wiring when breaker is off). The white wire(neutral) goes to the silver terminal, and the black wire (hot) goes to the brass terminal. It also helps to ground the box to the device. Do a 3 way splice using a wing nut/wire nut with three wires(extra wire to box, wire coming from cable, another extra wire going to device). Hope that helps, any other questions feel free to ask! :)

I really hope that trading is set up as like a "board" system where the trade menu shows you trades people are looking to make when they pass within few miles of you. People would be safe from potential danger at that distance, and it would be convenient for rural players like me
I kinda like this one idea I came up with for trading. Make it sort of like a gym and pokestop. Drop off a Pokémon you are willing to trade and what you want in return. Someone can then go by and offer up theirs and the one who put their Pokémon in there can accept, decline, or even a counter offer. But you don't have to keep going back to that "trade post"

Although japan's death count was low the injury count magnitude and (not sure about this last one) damage cost were higher, Earthquakes happened more frequently in japan in the past 7 years (total death count in the thousands), Pokemon came from japan, and Niantic is unfortunately only one company with one wildly successful game.

They could make trading 'local' for all Pokemon except regional, and add some other method for regionals.
Return that 12/3 romex cable you bought and buy s/o cord, its flexible extension cord essentially. Looks like You're just powering small electronics so 14/3 will be fine rated for 15 amps, which will be more than enough for what you are using it for. Black wire will go on the gold screw. White wire goes on the silver screw. Solid copper wire is your ground and will go on the green screw. You will also need an s/o cord connector to attach it to the box you bought

I personally am not salty about the Snorlax event because I already caught a couple of them and hatched one. Not sure if the Snorlax event in Kumamoto will draw the same crowds as the Lapras event in Ishinomaki. As a resident of Japan, I can tell you that Snorlax is a LOT more common and (easier to catch) than Lapras. Still, I hope the event is a success and helps out the Kumamoto area. They have a wonderful castle there that took some major damage. It would be nice to see that get repaired soon.
Solution to Trading:
The Zoku app ("Find your tribe") can be useful to team up for gym battles and cooperative placement. It uses Bluetooth to make yourself locally visible to whatever team you choose. Niantic could also use that same technology for future trading. I think it is actually the solution.

You talked about the range of the Tauros, in one episode. could you talk about the range of Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, Farfetch'd, Heracross and Corsola the other region exclusives.
Legendaries can travel - that would allow for staggered global events. Influencers can be team leads in different cities - that would be dope.
I like the idea of legionaries in major cities. Its much easier for someone to go somewhere within their state than across the country or international. i feel this would make people happy. If it was just something like in time square, alot of people would complain.

Im a GPS spoofer and it's so much more fun. (i dont really gym battle i just catch pokemon for my collection) and trust me its a funner experience when u spoof,especially for rural players like me who would never see rare mons without spoofing
The likelyhood of meeting a person with region only Pokémon who I might have something to trade with is slim to none. Niantic needs to get real about their philosophies of the game. They need to quit screwing people without great spawn rates.

Nick, I believe the "Save your candies" involves the trading system that's coming. In order to trade a Pokemon, you must have 3 candies to give with your Pokemon.
i love your channel! i am an American living in South Korea so not too long ago we finally got Pokemon Go here so slowly but surely going up in Level. i hear all about update news and events from you. here in South Korea they put a lot more Pokestops in collaboration with 7-Elevens and a cafe called Angelinus which is pretty cool. hoping for Korea and the general Seoul area to spawn more Pokemon cause it is definitely a little harder.

Oh dear god. Here we go again. Proximity trading could potentially be dangerous to players. You must set up a meeting with potentially someone you don't know. Yeah, that won't cause any mugging so.... I go back to the main series game to point out how stupid this is. Did you really trade more in one to one trading face to face or did you use GTS? I certainly used GTS way more than face to face. Why? Because the option of putting a Pokemon up for trade looking for a set other Pokemon in exchange is simple and could allow gamers to complete their dex. Get one thing clear, the vast vast majority of players can't afford to travel the world. Fact!!!!!

meh, I am not excited for legendaries in the slightest, cause I know no matter how many events they will hold, not a single one of them will be in Finland...mostly 80% US, 10% Japan, 10% rest of the world with just the biggest cities

MissHannahSymonds I live in the US, and unless one comes to Pittsburgh (even then, that's about an hour and a half away), I won't be seeing one either. Niantic refuses to comprehend that not everyone is a TH-cam content creator who makes videos and plays Pokemon GO 24/7.
Most of us have 8-5 jobs, school, etc. Finding time to travel on a specific day, to a specific location at a specific time is virtually unrealistic. If the events aren't held on weekends, that's pandering to who, the unemployed? If they are held on weekends, I'm almost positive they won't be nearby.
Driving 2-3 hours to catch a pixel for a phone app is a tad extreme. They need to just make it a week long event where the Pokemon can spawn anywhere, and once you've caught one on that account, you won't see it spawn again. Sure, it's not as exciting in the manner of a massive event everyone travels to, but it's a more plausible method for making sure everyone who wants one can readily obtain it.
Niantic is treating this like a Con event, i.e. Blizzcon. Except Blizzard doesn't give powerful items for paying to go to their event, they give aesthetics. Getting a Mewtwo is a massive upgrade to any arsenal, not just aesthetic.

Hey Nick, I just thought I'd share that I caught a Ditto disguised as a Sentret while watching today's video. I wasn't able to get a screenshot before it transformed because I didn't really expect anything when I caught it. This was the first time I got a Ditto disguised as Gen 2 Pokémon so I thought it would be cool to share. Love the videos btw! :)

You can't leave outlet terminals exposed, need to cover it with a box. Use BX cable with ground, safer, to run from leg outlet to wall outlet. Need to get a outlet box extension for the wall outlet, attach BX cable to wall extension, run wire to outlet. Be sure to attach ground. AND DO ALL THIS WITH WITH THE POWER OFF!!!
I went to the big city last Friday where there's Pokestops like every 2 steps so I went from my usual pretty much empty bag to "your bag is full" (and I have space for 650 items) and still not a single evo item.. I've only had one so far and that was on the day of gen 2's release.

There's a barber in long beach on Atlantic off the 405. The shop is called Brickstone Barber Shop. The main guy is named Ray. I usually go to him for my comb over and he does really good tapers.

Question for Q and A, based in the way Niantic was talking about trading, it seems like they are making sure that it has to be done in person. How do you think they will tackle that issue of exclusivity while still making the game safe? If it has to be done in person, criminals could take advantage
At one point you talked about Ingress events using a code to get rid of possible spoofers? How about something similar, just not tied to a location?
Like, if you are signed up, you get an email with a code that makes the legendary pokemon appear near your location (not you having to GO TO a location)
This would benefit rural players, and devalue spoofing at the same time
I'm a rural player and just this past week alone, I've found 2 blisseys, a typlosion, a skarmory, a larvitar, 2 mareeps, and a donphan, pupitar, and togetic all within walking distance of my house (though the last 3 ran away on my first throw :/)
I got lucky, but the lack of pokestops in rural areas is still annoying
I got a King's Rock from a pokestop on the 2nd day of gen 2 release (not in a 7 day bonus btw) and 2 weeks later I happened to be back at the same pokestop and received another King's Rock. If it hasn't been said already, I think that the items may be have a better chance to drop at certain pokestops like the theory of finding a "10k egg" more often at certain pokestops.

Sunday Q&A Question: Do you think there is a chance that the change to the gym battle system might involve an option where ALL of the Pokemon in a gym can be battled at the same time, and each trainer in a group that is attacking the gym would use a Pokemon of their choice to battle one of the Pokemon in the gym?
