Skyline Caverns and Shenandoah National Park!

This stop did not disappoint! I booked a site at Skyline Ranch Resort having no idea what was in store for us! We were just 5 miles away from both the Skyline Caverns and the northern entrance of Shenandoah National Park! We took full advantage of this even though we were limited on time!

I had no idea what to expect and we were blown away! How awesome! I've never done anything like this! Be prepared! Bring your sweatshirt and some sneakers. Also, the tour is about 1 hour long and be prepared to walk on uneven surfaces.

Our first National Park was a doozy! Check out all 105 miles of Skyline Drive and the breath taking views along the way. My only regret is that I didn't have enough time for some hiking while I was there.

I was a little nervous after reading the reviews on multiple sites. I decided to take my chances and I'm glad I did! The staff was friendly, the campground was older and may have needed some. improvements, but it was an awesome stay and I will be back for a visit for sure.

We drove Skyling from end to end and it took forever 😂 because we stopped at every overlook. The gift shop is never open 🤷🏼‍♂️ but we only go off peak, weekdays. The fall is nice. Lots of 🍂 leaf peeping.
