7:36 The "Roys Express Shell station" used to be called Bo's Belly Barn. My mom used to manage that store back in the day. Surprised to see Sam Snead Realty is still there. My Dad sold real estate there. 13:55 "The Catholic Charities" used to the U.S Tae Kwon Do federation. I earned my Black Belt there back in 95. Can't remember for sure but on the other side of town was "Deans Steakhouse" which I believe closed down. Man this video brings back some memories.
Just another block past where you turned around, you could have turned left on Kendrick Lane (which runs into 6th st) and it would've brought you out on royal avenue at the intersection where 7 Eleven is. (4:12 on your video)

The reason why the street was probably blocked off they were probably getting ready for the Firemans grade that they have every year around the middle of July they block a lot of streets off for the parade and ride around through there all the time I live near front wall and the next time you’re hungry and you’re in front Royal stop by mom’s restaurant good food at a reasonable price and no this is not an advertisement for them I eat there all the time

The old Pizza Hut on the right at 2:35. That place was always busy back in the late 80's to early 90's.
