Changed my cabin filter and started having a wild vibrating like sound when I put the hvac on.
Used this vid to pull the fan and check inside, took all of 10 minutes ..... Turns out I had a crinkly dried out leaf fall through down into the blower fan.... Which made an absurd sound when on.... I legit thought bearings were going.
You probably saved me a few hundred bucks from the dealer when they would have told me I needed a blower motor.

So wild the sound too, bc of a weak ass dried up winter leaf....if it were a leaf that wasn't dead or anything, maybe it could flap around or whatever and make noise.... But this was weak... and dead....frlm last YEAR... Making this sound I heard?!?
You'd have thought the dash was straight up vibrating apart.
It was like a cell phone vibration on a table while ringing.... Except with no break between rings.... Just constant.
...... Because of a single dried up LEAF!
I can't stress the cause vs effect enough...youd have thought I dropped a socket in there ... Just wildly dumbfounded a leaf created what I was hearing. 😂
Ill prob never get over this. 🤦 😂

Started my 2014 Grand Cherokee today and notymy blower is making a low grumble noise it never did that before. My first thought was either the blower motor or the blower itself. How did you know it was your blower and not the motor? And does the motor come out just as easily if I had to replace that?
I think i need to replace the blower control module/resistor. You're saying the blower control module is to the left under the left side panel? I thought the module/resistor was attached to the blower motor? I have a 2018 jeep latitude.
I think it is connected to the blower motor, been a while since I been under that side of the car
My check engine light came on yesterday and got a B10E9 code, Blower Motor Control Circuit Low. My AC was working, but then stopped. I hear the clucth kick on, but theres no air coming from vents.
I checked the fuses, and relay. They all seem fine. Next step is to replace blower motor.

The problem I’m having is the driver side mirror is out sync because when I press the button to open the mirrors , the driver side mirror keeps going pass the standard opening position but it closes fine, any advice
Did you check to make sure the side mirror frame is pressed all the way out. It can fold in if someone bumped it
@@ambitionoliver5928 yes the passenger side stops likes it supposed to when I press the button but the driver side going pass the reg opening position , it’s opening all the way up, like total opposite of the close position

@ForbinColossus Sorry I want to make sure I could respond quick. I got time to respond now. So anything can get inside of the blower and make noise. It can become unbalanced and start to whistle a little

@@ambitionoliver5928 Clean interior. Not sure anything got in from the inside. The sound is loud like a violin string tone that hurts your ears ---that began on Monday... It just so happens the air conditioning stopped blowing last week
@@ForbinColossus Yeah, I really think that would be your problem. Use this video and take it off. Spin it to listen to make sure it doesn't make a noise
What were the signs you needed to change it out , not sure if I should purchase the resistor or the blower
I took it out to clean my Jeeps vents. Didnt want the cleaning agent to get on the blower. If you hear knocking, inconsistencies, or not blowing when turn on.
@@ambitionoliver5928 it started by the speed fluctuating on its on id have it full blast and it would go up and down by its self eventually not blowing at all and there is a small sound coming from behind the glove compartment
@geterdone1427 Take out the glove box and check the cabin filter to see if anything like a leaf is creating the noise or blocking it.
@geterdone1427 Sounds like its going out, and look around for cost of it. Autozone maybe 100+, but Amazon could be cheaper.

@@ambitionoliver5928 I took out the old blower it still had the factory one from the dealer so they never replaced it but now I gotta wait to get the new blower and from their ima plug it in with out installing it all the way in ima just plug it and hold it with my hand to see if the blower deben spins to make sure it is the blower
