    Long day rides usually entail a lunch stop which is a good place and time to meet someone. Assuming there is a comfortable connection made, you might offer them to ride along afterwards.
    Some of us were talking earlier about our fall trip and someone suggested KY. It looks beautiful.

    • @motorcycleden
      @motorcycleden  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We have actually met a couple during a lunch stop and it worked out great! Sometimes it can be difficult if we are on a 400+ mile day, which doesn't leave much time at our stops. We love riding in Kentucky! I don't think you can go wrong with Kentucky. Which state are you guys coming from? If you decide to head to Kentucky and have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them if I can.

    I really appreciate you guys. The thing that stands out for me in your videos is that you explain where you are at & the routes are identified. A lot of Motovloggers just film & never say anything about the routes they take which is a turn off to me. You & your lady do a wonderful job explaining the route & scenery. I feel like I am riding with you. Very much appreciated. Ride safe.

    If you like the twisties and dragging a peg. Take rt32 out of morehead to Elliottville and then left on 504. You ride the ridgelines most of the way.
    All the way to grayson lake is back and forth and up and down. Banked curves and up and over risers you can easily pack the front tire on. Best road in the state. Then you get to grayson lake and make a right to laurel gorge. Go down under the bridge thru laurel curves to top it all off

    • @motorcycleden
      @motorcycleden  ปีที่แล้ว

      We've ridden 32 from Morehead to Louisa and I remember it was very curvy but that was many years ago. We haven't ridden the other roads so I took note and hopefully get a chance to ride them later this year. Thanks for the info!

      @@motorcycleden We have sketchy winters for sure. The road crews throw a ton of sand and rock salt. Traffic is so heavy where I live that even freshly repaired roads are pummeled in no time! @MotorcycleDen What is your audio setup for recording? Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like I can hear both you and MrsDen quite a bit more clearly in this video.
    My wife and I will be doing our own little trip this Saturday…a circle-route from Colorado Springs, through the Denver-metro, out I-70 to Aspen, then the back-road on the return, through Buena Vista and highway 24. My audio setup for recording is nowhere near as clear as yours, though.

    • @motorcycleden
      @motorcycleden  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sounds like it's going to be a great trip! We want to get back to Colorado for some more riding, it is awesome out there! We use the 20s Evo for intercoms and gopro9 with the media mod. Here is a link to a video that goes through the entire procedure.
      th-cam.com/video/BvH92dSt96A/w-d-xo.html
      The only drawback is I have to use earbuds when recording. It can be a little bit of a pain but you can definitely hear better with them. If you have any questions after watching the video feel free to ask.

    That is beautiful scenery. I like to meet other TH-camrs. But I don't travel to see them I see them when they come to my area and want to meet up. Oh oh traffic back up. Nice lake at the end.

    • @motorcycleden
      @motorcycleden  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a great area to ride. At the tunnel, I've seen where people pulled up too far and a huge line of traffic had to back up. Wasn't a pretty sight and took a while. Apparently driving in reverse is a special skill because a couple people could barely do it and one ran off the road.

      @motorcycleden  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      HarleyDayRider had mentioned I said the name wrong. Lol Hopefully I remember that the next time I say it.
      That would be tough backing up in that dark tunnel, especially 2up. If it was too far I think I'd want to wait until the car or cars backed up. I've seen some people at the tunnel trying to back up in a car and almost had their car sideways, it wasn't pretty. Lol I'm thinking they haven't had to back up much.
