Watching this video, I am taken aback by the sheer beauty of the California coastline and hills and then try to comprehend the insane policies of the godless people who reside there.
People need to stop painting the people of California with a broad brush. I’ve moved 20 years ago, but know many many people who are not Godless, or voted for the woke agenda. Granted, many liberals vote blue no matter what, but there are many others who don’t ascribe to these ideologies.
We have some of the best weather in the world-especially near the coast. As for policies, L A finally voted out their previous DA who wouldn’t prosecute the worst of the worst. Thanks Rob, I was raised in the San Fernando Valley about 3 miles from the HURST Fire. I have worked on Disasters for years and am amazed at the Firestorms velocity. I have had several people and relatives in different evacuations and I always try to emphasize that a 30 mile wind gust means that a fire that is 30 miles away, will be at your doorstep in 1 hour. Which also means if the fire is only 15 miles away, it will be there in 15 minutes!! Also, had a Fireman tell me that he believed that cars will stall from lack of oxygen in heavy smoke so get out as soon as you can. Explains why some abandon their cars.
Thanks for sharing that wind speed correlation. To expand analogy I assume 60MPH winds 30 miles away would arrive w/in 30 minutes. Can you provide source for this contention?
