What I loved the most about Mystara was the level of detail. It's a damn shame that they ignored it later on, it was a great setting (I was never a big fan of Hollow World however). Plus, the fact Karameikos was very Slavic and had a cool divide between the native Traladaran and the Thyatians was something that no other setting has often done.
Things that are obsessively kept in good condition will last a long time. If Mr. Welch hadn't been trying his best to keep this alive, I probably never would have found out about it.
Somebody had to do it. I'm not the only one, but the primary video channel. Harvard, Thorfin, and everybody at the Vaults, Piazza and Mystara Reborn kept it going before me
I love these compilations because I can listen passively and actively. This helps me retain information and hopefully it'll help me play and run in the Mystara setting.
Thank you I always appreciate super cuts of things. Whether it's for relaxing. A sleep aid are just some nice chill background noise while ambulating through the world .
58:36 With reboots of both movies/shows, I doubt they'll love the reference like some of us, but new players will have heard of them. At least, when their Grandparents tell them!😂😂😂
Damn I'm too soon for the video and TH-cam has yet to link the audio to the video files together! I'll be back in a little while to watch the video... but with SOUND!
concerning the gnolls and the nithians. I always imagined that the gnolls were created by more than one race. Slightly different in appearance, one more scaley (troll like) and the other more hairy (gnome like).
I was thinking a perfect addition for Karameikos would be an M-Ashkenazi group, part of a larger M-Jewish people. They'd have Hattian surnames, but have many cultural similarities with Traladarans. This would add a fourth religious faction, unless you want to add some Traladarans who follow al-Kalim as M-Bosnians and M-Albanians, though that may be more fitting in the City States closer to Hule.
4 hours of Mr. Welch. Just what I needed in my life.
Thanks. This will keep me from having to queue up each video when running the tractor for hours.
BECMI Forever!
Long Live King Elmore!!
It really is a good setting.
yes! this is exactly what i need right now!

This is the kinda content that helps the work day go by. Thank you sir
Thanks! I've listened to these at least twice on the playlist, and having them all in one place is great.
the dedication to the setting is quite scary.

Mystara deserves the devotion.

So, in The 13th Warrior, Antonio Banderas plays a Ylari.
Good for the ride home after a long week that has tried me on so many levels.
Much appreciated brother
I'm enjoying your channel, and the introduction to the lands.
These are such excellent videos and content, Mr. Welch. ❤
Huzzah!
Only way to improve it would be to add a chapter index for each gazetteer.
Done. However I noticed the software cut off Dawn of the emperors. Seems to capped the video at 4 hours
Awesome sauce ... Gramercy!
BECMI is for me still the best core rules for D&D. The greatest depth, greatest variation, despite limited character classes.
EPIC VIDEO!!! Thank you, Mr. Welch!
Master Blaster runs Harbor Town!
i never knew Aaron Alston wrote dungeons and dragons i just knew him from the star wars wraith squadron books..which are so good

solid gold is solid gold (6d10x100gp value).
Are "The Thorns" a more elaborately disguised Turk 182 Easter egg? 😂
01:44· Specularum?
What does the former name of the city sound like?

I voted for Grand Duke Stefan Karameikos. Screw Bargle.
