Great video, to be honest your game isn't that bad, you have a tidy swing and putts are fine, chipping is a thing all golfers work on and it totally pays off. I've been playing golf since I was 18 got down to 4HC, then I took 20 years off golf came back and was total rubbish, I mean proper rubbish 110+ for 4 years. I have now in the last year got down to 13 and it should be single figures in the next month. So if I can do this anyone can, I have a mate that likes golf but hardly ever plays, he can play to 14 all the time, some people are just good at the game, I'm not. Keep the videos coming I would love to see where you end up at the end of the season.
Thing is you didn’t play too badly. When breaking 100, double bogeys and bogeys are fine but it’s about avoiding the triples and worse. There were two holes where you got more than a double bogey. The first was because of a 3 putt. The second was because of the ball you hit out of bounds. This can easily be remedied by hitting the practice putting green before a round, concentrating on putts inside 4/5 feet. Also, only picking driver on the holes where the worst case scenario isn’t that bad in order to remove the stress. Everyone seems to be the same in that golf feels worse when putting is bad, you keep losing balls or looking for them for a long time, or playing out of trees. Since I’ve put away the driver on those stressful holes and worked on my putting, I’ve enjoyed golf much more and rarely ended a round feeling terrible about golf

I have been watching Phil Mickelson since your last message and have found it helpful.Think this last video is me forgetting everything I have learnt, even the stuff my coach Craig Thomas has taught me.... I'm definitely going to leave the driver in the bag as Oxley is a tight course 👍🏻🏌🏻♂️

@@itsjustgolf I nearly dunked a 90yd 56 degree wedge shot on the 5th. After that I just kept trying. Lost 6 pro v 1s tho so it was a very expensive round .

I'm no expert by any means (I usually card between 90-100 so not any different to yourself really) but I've always thought your positioning and stance when you're about to strike the ball looks absolutely spot on. Whenever I watch myself back I'm often slouched over but you seem to have a really strong, upright stance.

I reckon you'd have done it! I shot my best round yesterday (108) and didn't film it 🙈but there's probably a correlation there haha

Try to tee up on far right side of tee box when using your driver. Could help a bit with fade/slice
