+Laenna Klein The trauma she must feel to this day. I feel so badly for her. I hope she and her friend's family have sought some kind of counseling or some help to work thru this. I wish the very best for them all. It was just a horrible tragedy. It reminds me of a little girl who was killed playing on farm equipment when I was about 9 years old. It was all over town. We all had to get counseling in school because we were little kids and didn't understand what had happened.

That chick who's witnessed the death of a little boy as child being crushed by a log.. is on a different level from hospital old people deaths. I mean hers is just traumatic.

Brittany Hyder Not really, i watched my grandmah die in a hospital bed looking pretty peaceful and it didn't nearly feel as terrible as knowing my 11yo friend died of cancer and a chick from school died in a car accident along with 2 other teens in the car.

This may be a bit late, but just last year I lost my brother to a motorcycle accident on the freeway, and I remember vividly a girl coming to our house telling us every single thing that happened and how she tried to help him by staying with him and trying to keep him talking and everything just so he won’t loose conscious but then he, well, he passed

I witnessed the brutal death of my best friend. He had leukemia and was bullied. He couldn't take it no more and wanted to jump in front of a train. I was holding his arm pleading him no to do it. I lost my grip. To this day I know I should have pushed him out of the way. I should have taken it. It's been a year. I miss him and it hurts.

I witnessed the death of my mom. I was 11 and I'm 13 now. It was 3 days after my 11th birthday. She had Cancer. We found out about the cancer in June of 2013 and she passed September 2013. I just remember my family talking about amazing moments we had with her and her breathing patterns changed and I felt every emotion ever created in my body when she stopped breathing. I had an utter and pure mental breakdown. I miss her so so much and the dreams of her on her death bed haunted me for awhile but I am so glad I witnessed it because I was with her at the very last point in her life and I could never give that honour up. I have become a better person since my moms death. And I hope she is proud of me. I miss you mummy 💖

My uncle owned a gas station in mississippi, so during the summer we went to go visit them, I went with my uncle and aunt to the gas station because they had to collect something, i think it was money to go to the bank, they told me that i would get any candy i want, and while i was picking out the candy i wanted (this was like 5 years ago, im 14 now) a man came inside the store and complained that his gas wasn't pumping, so i walked next to my aunt who was looking out the window while my uncle went outside to try and see why the gas wasn't pumping. Then the man pulled out a gun and demanded my uncle to drop all his belongings, the employee at the gas station called the police but was too late because when my uncle dropped all his belongings he was shot in the head. I witnessed my uncle get shot in the head and robbed at the age of 9. Rest in Peace to all of your passed loved ones and to my uncle.

On October 20, 2010 my mom asked my dad for a divorce because things had been pretty rough at home. After about an hour of my dad throwing my moms things and pushing her down the stairs, he shot her in the back as she was running away from him and then returned the gun to his head and ended his own life. I didn't personally witness it but my older sister did. She held my mom while she suffered to take her last breath. I was in the bedroom below them and hearing everything was traumatizing enough, I don't even know how my sister lives. I pray for everyone who has ever lost anyone close to them. Death is the hardest thing anyone ever has to go through. God bless you all.

They responded by saying someone jumped in front of the train.
I looked to the right, there was a body bag. it was later revealed the victim was bullied and raped, so he commited suicide. It was honestly very scary.

My dad has been there for 3 deaths of family members (all of old age) so my nanny made a joke about him being the grim reaper and he laughed but later that night I found him tearful cuddling an old toy while lying in bed. I was 11 and talked to him about it the next day and he just burst into tears.

    • @amandasnider2644
      @amandasnider2644 2 ปีที่แล้ว

That's sweet of you to have the courage to talk to him about it. Its quite jarring to see a parent truly cry. When I was six I laughed at my Dad while he was on the phone because I thought he was fake crying for a joke or something because I've never heard him sob before. Turns out he had just found out one of his older brothers (who was an identical twin to my still living uncle) suddenly died. It was initially assumed it was a car crash but we think it might have been a sudden brain anyerism. I've always felt guilty about that

I don't think that You would laugh at their death. Once they die , they're gone. They're not coming backend to laugh at that is just a Jerk move. So, When Someone dies I don't Expect you to be laughing at them like it's a Joke , Because it's not.

I clicked on this because I actually did just witness a death. It’s the first day of school and I saw a car hit a women and all 3 of her kids. The children are okay, but the mother,, she passed away. And the worst thing is, is that the mother didn’t get to see her 3,6, and 8 year old graduate school yet. And I actually saw her on Friday all happy with her kids, and now.. the lady is dead. It’s just a horrible thing. My prayers go out to her family

I had an aunt, and she had a 14 year old daughter, 11 year old daughter, and 2 twins age 3(all girls). She loved them to death, then one day she was diagnosed with Breast cancer. My mom went to visit her for 2 weeks(note that my aunt lives out of my state so I couldn't visit her) After 2 weeks she was still in the hospital bed, and my mom had to come home. A week later we got a call saying that she passed away. My uncle was heart broken, and my mom was devastated. I myself cried just of the thought of what would happen to my cousins. my uncle would still have to work to get his money for the family. The twins were watched over by my uncles friend, but my cousin had to watch them over after school. After school let out, we went to go visit them. As soon as we got there, we saw the twins. You know what they said? I started to cry as soon as they said it, they said "Did you bring mommy home?"

When I was 8 I woke up in the middle of the night to my mom screaming. When I got out of bed she started to call 911. I looked into my parents room and my dad was laying on the ground. I was scared and confused at the same time. My sister was trying to give him cpr since she was studying to be a doctor...but it wasn't working. When the ambulance came they used a defibrillator on him but that wasn't working either. So they took him to the hospital. All I remember after that was that friends and family came over. The next day my mom told me died in the hospital and that the cause of death was from a heart attack. It came out of nowhere. My birthday was in 5 days. My brother was 6 and my sister was 21. Now I'm 13 and I have a stepdad, which I don't like. And I wish he was still here every day. He was the best dad ever.

She died of the heart attack following all that scream and everything and i couldn't do anything else than look at her, knowing i was paralyzed by the fact of being scared. My great-grandma had 92 years old when she passed away: she was a courageous woman who was nurse during ww2, was for french resistance, survived hard times of economic crisis, etc. She was my idole.

About a month ago, a few days after New Years actually, me and my brother were fighting and please take note that at that time I was 13, right now i'm 14 since my birthday was 3 days ago. But So I was going to brush my teeth and while I was walking I stopped and I saw my older brother and my dad run outside and tell my mom and uncle, "MOM I THINK SOMETHINGS WRONG WITH GRANDMA!!!" And after that I heard screaming and crying and so I just stood there as my parents and uncle and brother ran inside my grandmas room (We lived together) and just my younger brother told me to go back inside the room and he tried grabbing my arm and began pulling me in but I just kept screaming, "NO WAIT!" and then my dad came into the hallway and told us to go inside the room. Around 2 minutes later, my dad walked in, sat down and told me that my grandma had just passed away. Just those shrieks and screaming of my aunt screaming and crying just, i can't forget and i'm crying right now because before my birthday, I walked by my grandmas picture and just ran into my room and began crying, knowing that my grandma isn't gonna be here for my birthday, and I miss her and I love her. I'm crying writing this but, I just want her to be happy in heaven...

So, my brother and my dad got into a huge argument which led to my brother trying to kill my dad with a knife. I called the police, hysterically crying as I waited, while watching my brother trying to kill my dad. There was this moment where my brother had kind of forced my dad to the counter, my brother behind him, and he kept lifting his arm and forcing it down. I thought he had killed my dad. I saw blood, so I assumed he had. My heart had stopped beating and I was just in so much shock. I started to scream, "What have you done" through my incoherent cries, and I was so scared. When my dad started to move again as he tried to fight off my brother, I was so relieved, I cried even harder. My dad's still alive but I still remember the exact moments of seeing that.

Try working in a hospital. I have seen mothers, brothers, children, and the list goes on. Even though I have seen many deaths, each one doesn't get easier either. I saw a little boy die in his parents arms while he was getting radiation treatments. I can still remember their faces.

I'm just curious about the protocol for dealing with death in a hospital setting. Are you allowed to show remorse or do you have to continue to work as if that's just routine. Are displays of emotion from medical personnel frowned upon?

I got a story... I was 5 at the time of my uncle's death... I use to live with my uncle and aunt with my mom and my uncle was babysitting me... I went into the room to ask him if he could cook something for me so he cooked me some eggs I asked him if he was going to make some eggs for himself... I didnt know he had colesteral *sorry if i didnt spell that right* he made some for himself as well to make me happy... after he finished he said he was going to get some rest... almost an hour passes by and my aunt came home she asked where he was I told her he was in bed... she went into the room she tried waking him up he didnt... she called a doctor and he said... he's gone... the last moment I saw him that day was when priest were carrying him away...he was like a father to me because I didnt have a dad... Im 16 now and to this day I remember him being carried away... and it really breaks my heart cuz I always feel like it was my fault he died and that I never got to know him well....

Last year my dog cookie (now my sisters) had a litter of puppies and there were 3 we had a list of around like 20 different names (all sweets) and the three we chose were Vanilla (cause she was white), Ferrero)(because he was brown with a black stripe on his back), and Nutella (same reason) so one day when I got home from school and I wanted to play with the three of them so I found Vanilla and Ferrero but couldn't find Nutella, so I looked for about 30 minutes I found him and I found him dead under a stack of brick tiles leaning against my house and he was dead because he couldn't get out of the space and suffocated. I then sat down and cried and he was my favorite.

Okay so this is NOTHING compared to these stories I know but I witnessed my dog biting my kitten to death when I was very young. I was sitting outside and all of a sudden I heard my sister shouting at my dog so I ran inside to see what was going on and my kitten that had only been with us for a few weeks was inside his mouth. I remember trying to pull him out and I was covered in blood. When I finally managed to pull him out I ran outside and was completely in shock, I started grabbing hands full of gravel and throwing them around aimlessly. I was screaming so hard that my neighbors from across the street came to look at what was going on. I can't even imagine how terrible it must feel to lose a person that is important to you, I feel so much empathy for people that have gone through something like that, they're incredibly strong.

When I was in year 6 me and my sister would walk to school every morning like we did from years 4 to 12. She's a few years older than me. This adorable cat would always walk with us to school, until one day it walked into the road and got hit by a van, less than a meter away from me. I saw it happen. I saw and heard so much. Me and my sister, ages 11 and like 15 just stood crying and screaming instantly. The car didn't stop. It just kept going. The cat was bleeding out and spasming in the road, it was truly horrendous. We didn't know what to do- we couldn't stop it- we didn't want to look we walked down the street a tiny bit as a mother driving her kids to school pulled over right away to see if we were ok and she kindly pulled the cat to the side of the road and said she was so sorry to us. We sat on the corner of the street as kids and cars we recognized drove down the other street to my school, having no idea of what had just happened. We went home and spent the day crying.

Even an animals death can be traumatizing, however because of this incident my sister now trains to be a vet. It's not exactly the same as the stories in this video, but it hurt so much. +Aubrey Caulfield Just before new years, I helped bury what was essentially my wife and my cat, though, kind of also my mother-in-law's cat, and brother-in-law's cat... it was the house's cat. It got hit in the middle of the street right in front of the house, my mother-in-law had just been away for like 10-15 minutes at the dollar store near the house and then the cat was dead in the street. The blood stains just stayed there in from of the house until it finally rained many days later.

Dec 24, 2016 I watched my mom pass from bone cancer. It was horrible seeing the pain she was in but yet she only cared that I was o.k. As she went non responsive she slipped me 1 more smile. Do you know how devastating it is to watch your hero gurgling their last breath. Ever since she was diagnosed she only worried about how we were boing to be when she passed, selfless. Then my best friend of almost 20yrs died a week after her. Some guys beat him to death on his way home from work, while on the phone with his wife. He was responsive going into the hospital but they then had to perform emergency surgery. He ended up brain dead and had his tubes pulled and during I final goodbyes he shed a tear befoer he passed. He died on his birthday. All this fairly recent so I'm just here to see how people deal with a loss because honestly, I'm losing my f@#*ing mind.

I have adopted two dogs at once one year. One day, I was walking my French bulldog, creme, (I always name my dogs are food, don't question me) on the sidewalk of a busy road. Creme decided she wanted to go across the road, but a semi was driving along. I tugged on her leash, but Creme was a strong dog, so she ran into the street. The semi was getting closer and it ran Creme over. When the truck passed, I looked at Creme. Her whole body was a lump of fur, crushed bones, blood, and flesh. We took her home and hurried her in my backyard. R.I.P. Creme Coffee (Coffee is her middle name). That happened when I was 12 and now I'm 13. I still cry about it.

I remember my mom's death. Her cancer had only been in her breast, but it had spread through her body. She was living with her mom, my grandmother, and I also lived with my grandmother. My dad and I were sitting outside, and our house was busy with nurses and family. My grandma came out the front door and called my dad, and I followed. I couldn't see because of all the people, but I remember shouting, and crying, and people repeating, "Please stay with us." My grandpa told me to go back outside, so I did, although I wanted to be with my mom. A few minutes later, my dad came out of the front door, and he just looked at me and I knew. I started bawling, I remember shaking everywhere and I kept telling my dad, "No, this can't be real" and he kept apologizing, saying it was real and that she was gone. People left, and I walked in the house and I regretted going in because I could barely take seeing that. My mom wasn't there. I could feel the emptiness as I took the stuffed moose I gave her out of her lifeless hands. I remember I had calmed down, but I was still crying. The funeral home people came in and just threw her body in a bag carelessly, and I hated it. I had a lot of built up hatred. I hated my friends for having an alive mom and a caring dad, since my dad abandoned me shortly after my mom's funeral. And most importantly, I remember a few days before she passed away, she reached for my hand and very quietly, said, "My baby girl." Although she was confused from all the pain medication, she knew a few things still. I was only 9.
It's been almost 4 years, Momma. I love and miss you so much.

Omg, this story, is so much more sad than the video, and more relatable. My mom died almost 9yrs ago, and it was suicide. I drove an hour n a half to see her. She was all drunk on her pain pills but I hung around. At the end of the night I was gunna leave her sleeping in her chair, but she woke when I was leaving. She said"baby, u leavin?" I said yeah, she said"you know I love u right?" I scoffed n said yeah, I love u too, n left. When I got home(hour n a half later) I saw I had 8 vmails frm my sis, suffice it to say, mom was gone before I got back. My last image of her: in a body bag, tube down her throat, n her gorgeous blue grey eyes open and lifeless..I concur your statement: I love u mama, I will forever miss u everyday..xoxoxo

I witnessed the death of my great grandma, one day, 4 years ago, we went to visit her at the nursing home and she wouldn't wake up. My mom was working at the nursing home at the time and she checked up on her and said "She's breathing, but I don't know how long for." And that her breathing patterns were different. I stood there with my sister, my grandma and we all started balling. It traumatized me when I heard the sound of her monitor just go flat and then that's when I head her last breath. I was in a similar situation. My mother has always had a number of conditions, she had always trained me what to do if the worst ever came to happen. I never thought I would use any of that information. One day I was in the store with my mother as a child, when she told the cashier that she was about to faint. I rushed to grab her a wheelchair and got her in it just in time. She was still conscious, but unable to stand. I took her to the pharmacy part of the store, and they begun to take care of her. She then had a grand-mal seizure, and after the seizure had stopped, she stopped breathing, and her eyes glazed over. I legitimately thought she was dead. She woke up a little while later, somewhat responding. She nearly died three times on the way too the hospital, and once more in the emergency room. She is fine now, but the sound of sirens always gives me anxiety. There is nothing more upsetting than sitting in the front of the ambulance, turned around, watching your mother nearly die over and over, and not being able to do a thing, and having to keep your composure. Love your family, because you never know when you are gonna lose them. Sometimes, there is no warning.

when I was 10 my papaw died. I didn't see it but I did see him after. I broke down and cried for about 20-30 minutes before hand so I didn't shed a tear during the actul service because I had cried myself out. But it started POURING rain , and I am far from superstitious, but how the rain stoped right as he was burried kinda made me feel like the world was crying for the loss of such a wonderful, kind, strong, intellegent man. Rip papaw Donnie.

    Okay other then people,
My mum had a horse since she was 13, it was her entire life and that horse was everything to here.
She had experienced competitions, freedom, ridden for a while 3 hours to visit my cousins and became best friends with this animal.
She was a dappled grey named Lilly, and she would blow you away. She was a tease and yet so gentle and competitive. My mums attitude in a animal.
Then I was born, and she became my best friend. My mum got too old to ride so I rode her instead.
when I turned 11, I was outside with my mum when she had some sort of spasm. I watched in tears as she fell to the ground from having another stroke and my mother got to hold her head in her lap crying till the vet came.
    That was her best friend.
She had to be put down, and my mum didn't wanna be there to see it but she had too because without her there Lilly would kick and whinny cause she knew what was happening.
So she died with my mother holding her head. I was in tears it was so upsetting to me.

I didn't witness it but my best friend's little brother fell out of a sixth story window and died on impact. She's always been very squeamish and never opened up about it but one night she said that she had looked down after he fell and she knew she shouldn't have. She hadn't cried then, just screamed, but she broke down and made me cry because it's hard to see ones you love in so much pain and you really want to help but you can't do anything. She had watched her brother fall and was helpless. He was 8 years old

February 23, 2015. I had been sick and stayed home from school and went back to bed and I was woken up to my mom yelling from the front door that something was wrong with Papa. he had come to our house to take my little sisters to school because my mom was in a car accident a few weeks prior. After I woke up and went outside (it was -10 F and snowing outside) I had to call my uncle and tell him papa was dying and I had to watch my mom call 911 and start performing cpr on him as she's a nurse. She was on the phone and I was just standing there watching. After about 5 minutes my mom felt his pulse again and said it was getting fainter and fainter so she showed me where to keep my fingers and feel his heartbeat. After about another 2 minutes of his faint pulses I didn't feel it anymore and my papa had passed away as I had my hand on his neck feeling his pulse. I still cry over it and I still haven't gotten the picture of him dying and his dead corpse out of my mind.

I watched my mon die two years ago after a long battle with breast cancer. I was just 15 at the time and had no idea what would happen in my life afterward or how much would change. It was a very painful, horrible, yet slightly peaceful sight because I knew she had finally reached the end of her struggle.....her last week alive is still something I will never forget. She had become a complete shell of a human being after the cancer spread, she couldn't talk or even think reasonably. Those days for her must have all been a complete blur.......

I'm going through pretty much the exact same thing with my mom right now. When you see someone who's in the process of going into the next world, you realise just how much of a shell the body really is. I can still see her in there sometimes, and that almost makes me cry more than anything, to know what she's had to go through . . . But I think it is mostly a blur right now, and she's sleeping most of the time anyway. I just hope the end is as painless as possible.

My bird died earlier this year. I know it's not as serious but I have serious trust issues so he was the only thing I could trust. I remember him chirping a lot. But he always did that so I dismissed it as normal. Then he hit the side of his cage and fell, making a noise that sounded like a puppy. I ran over to his cage and tried to calm him down. I said his name several times and he stopped breathing. I screamed and my mom came in. She didn't know why I was so upset. I am still not over it because my parents keep telling me that i could've saved him and that he was just a stupid bird. Even if he was a stupid bird, he was the only thing I could trust. Sorry for telling you guys this. But I need to tell someone.

In June 2012, my mother was taken into hospital. I still don't know exactly why to this day (I expect it was a burst artery or something), but I was told it was something wrong with her leg. My family had known there was something up with her for about 3 months, but this shocked us. We remained confident, however, but our hope started to fade when she was taken into a local hospice at the end of July. We told ourselves to stay confident that she would come out alright.
August 11th, 2012. I was given a lift down to said hospice to see how she was doing. I found my family and close relatives around her bed. I walked in only to hear my father tell me that she had died only five minutes previously.

I would take all the bones in my body breaking than go through that again. After all waking up next to your dead mother isn't a experience any person would like to relive. My cousin Becca passed away April 14th of 2015. She had been battling an 11-year old case of Battens Disease. She lost her sight, ability to talk, and ability to move.
Her favorite movie was Finding Nemo, and she had watched it before the disease hit her.
Her final moment was crying, my 10 year old cousin and 18 year old cousins, aka her siblings, my aunt and uncle, her parents, and everyone else crying. Even one of the nurses. My cousin (not the dead one) turned on Finding Nemo. We all stayed in there for 5 minutes until she turned white and blue. I took her brother in to the next room and continued to watch Charlie The Drunk Guinea Pig until he laughed and felt better. It was very tragic. Becca was 15 when she died.
A memory my aunt told me was in her early stages of the disease, she used to call out for my brother who was her best friend. Becca would be in school, and because she was blind, she would call out for my brother.
I wish her rest In heaven where she can play.

I wish you and your family luck, especially your mother. Just never forget that God is looking out for you, and that if your mother does pass, she'll be in a better place... or whatever you're beliefs are, she won't suffer.

Last October, weeks before my birthday, we learned that my cat had pancreatic cancer. It explained a lot that I won't get into. My dad didn't like cats but he loved him with all his heart. My dad was on a business trip when we found out though, and my cat was in so much pain at that point because we found out so late that we had to put him down four days after the diagnosis. My dad couldn't be home to see his best friend and say goodbye.
Two years ago, a day after Christmas, my family decided to put our dog down because he was 15 years old, older than me at the time, and under a lot of pain due to arthritis and a lot of anxiety that we could not control. We had had him since he was 6 months old, longer than I had been alive.
I stayed in the vet room until each of them passed, and even longer to say goodbye. You could see their souls leaving their body. Their eyes glossed over and a kind of warmth left their body. Not literal warmth--the sort of comfort and welcoming that draws you to a pet. We lost both of them within 10 months and we still miss them dearly. Their pictures are in our dining room. Several of my family members have had dreams with both of them in the dream--even family that does not live in my house. Our other pets weren't even the same afterward. My cat, who lived with both my late dog and cat since she was a baby, never acted the same way after my cat passed. He was much older than her but he would always let her play with him despite being tired and she laid with him most nights when they slept. She's much more vocal to me now, but more reserved from everyone else. I think she's still grieving 14 months later.

epickitty58 thank you for sharing I know how terrible it is to lose a pet and it makes me sad when people try to say that you shouldn't be sad because they're just an animal. I recently had to put my dog down that had been with me for 13 years and I know what you're describing when they finally let go. I hope our animals are at peace and happy in some form of animal afterlife or heaven or even coming back to us in another pet. 💖

Jordan the Shitlord thank you for sharing the loss of your cat and dog. my heart goes out to you. I also lost many pets close in time. I wish it had been me and not them. I am sick with seeing them sick...and they did not get better but got worse and I know now they were dying. they were weak...all 3 of them. for the first time I saw what death looks like....and weakness is part of it. I wish I were dead to see them. life is not fun any more. I long to hear their voices and touch their fur. where are they now?

my sister yesterday was killed in a car accident. we were following behind them when it happened. my mom jammed on the brakes and i ran out to only find chelsea my sister laying 17 feet from the accident and i hugged her and nudged her and the last thing she said was "maddie i love you so much please tell mom and said i love them so mu." and she didn't finish much. i yelled i cried. i was shaking her. yelling and telling her to wake up. i was begging God to wake her up. but she just died right in front of me. if you look up "Chelsea Bowman death" on google you'll get pictures and an explanation how she died. my father and brother are safe and okay just a few injuries not life threatening. nobody knows what it's like to loose someone so close to you. Forever loved 1/8/02-10/24/16 r.i.p sissy. i love you so much 😭😭😭❣️❣️❣️🔐

people will say that the “old people dying of old age” one isn’t sad but like,, my grandmom was on home hospice for a year before she passed from a brain tumour. i was only 11 at the time, and when you’re young it really does screw with you. especially for me since my father was never in my life and my mother was always away at work it was like losing a second mother. you never know how badly someone has it, so i wouldn’t dictate what stories are real and fake here. sure, some could be made up for attention but it’s the internet. you never really know.
