Paid 200 total on flights from US to Paris then from London to US on Wow air. Tbh, they had service better than some budget US airlines.

Yeah, I flew WOW from Dallas - Paris last year. I paid $350 roundtrip, an incredible price. Had no complaints all about service. Shame they went under.
Hmm, I wonder why they went bankrupt? You get what you pay for. If you don't pay, the company either goes bankrupt or you get standard/below standard service.

I feel sorry for WOW because they had to cancel many routes because larger budget airlines like British Airways and AA compete with them and obviously they can’t afford to keep up

Ummmm no. Credit cards aren't going to cover this for. It's not fraud or a scam. They went out of business. They are protected from collectors now through bankruptcy. But credit cards, unless u have Insurance through that card isn't covering this..

I got to fly with them only once from Düsseldorf to Iceland then to LA and I honestly thought it was very strange that the plane was half empty, I'm not surprised
If the tickets cost less than $100, I wouldn’t worry about the refund. But if your budget is that low for a plane ticket, I can understand the frustration trying to buy tickets on any other airline.
If your budget is that low you don't have the money to travel.

Last Friday I was supposed to flight from to Cuba in this airline and after being since 9 pm waiting for the plane to arrived to the airport, at like 1 am they told us our flight was cancelled and that we weren’t gonna get our money back so I had to buy a new ticket
And then 3 months later Jet Airways based in India did the same thing. IE: The really super cheap flights that are constantly offered will hang you out to dry when you least expect it.

They denied my refund on Day 2 after mistakenly purchase. I kept trying for 1-week (called 4-5 times). Flight was 30 days later. Only my credit card company helped me get my money back! (Purchased thru Google Flights, where Google denied any involvement). LESSON - always use credit card.

what part of “bankrupt” do you not understand? They have no money for your refund! What little money they possibly still have will be used to repay secured creditors - aircraft lessors and the like, not passengers!
You can blame fly by night carriers and other so called low cost/ultra low cost carriers such as this for dragging down service standards of reputable airlines which charge reasonable fares but are forced nonetheless to compete with the likes of airlines that charge insane fares all in the name of CHEAP! They deserve to go out of business!
It’s US law that you have a 24 hour from ticket purchase to cancel and get refunded your money for a ticket purchase. Anything beyond 24 hours is your stupid fault. Stop blaming others for your mistakes and take some responsibility, especially since you admitted you made a mistake.

Why put the burden on paid customers for their refunds?? WOW Air shouldve taken care of rebooking all passengers to other flights at no cost to the passenger - that's the least this airline couldve done.

I'm at a loss for words I did not think that could happen at a snap of a finger.
I flew four times with them between Europe and US and were ok. I tried booking a ticket a few weeks ago and were no flights available. I'm happy for not wasting money with them ....
Some of the airlines execs should go to prison... Instead of telling their costumers, they sneeze every penny from them before going under and letting everyone else deal with their bullshit. They should have made a public announcement that they're shutting down operations and slowly but surely fly their last plane. But, no, that's what an honest person would do.
