Hi! Love your videos. Looking into taking my family next year for New Years to NC but not sure which mountain to go to. I know the mountains are close together. Which one do you suggest to take for the kids. I just saw your sugar mountain video and saw the tubing and the coaster were there. Are there any resorts to stay there? And in grandfather mountain, is there any tickets that need to be bought to enjoy the hiking or any attractions ? Also is Linville Falls a park for hiking?
Okay so Grandfather Mountain has many trails for all ages that range from very challenging to fairly easy. They also have a really cool zoo that you can visit that the kids would love. The tickets are per car to enter the whole park. I believe it’s less than $20 per vehicle and they give you a park map and there are rangers that you can ask questions. They have a mile high bridge at the top which is really cool to walk across. You will love visiting this place. Also if you like wine be sure to check out Grandfather Mtn Vineyard. The nearby town of blowing rock is awesome as well, and there is a park for the Blowing Rock where the legend of the rock is from. There’s so much to do here, we hope you enjoy your trip.
