For those who are confused, using a Mega Mushroom allows Funky to travel at up to 200 speed for some reason.. This can only be achieved by using a supergrind or some form of rfh.
Wow, some of these supergrinds are so broken exceeding 120 and even up to 180, it’s practically 200cc lol. Love how 2:51 syncs with the supergrind too!
the first one is practically no ultra but you have to reverse to get the checkpoint, the second one is too but you barely hit all the ending key checkpoints
I know a few of these tricks may be impossible without TAS, but what caught my eye is the BC64 lava finish which MIGHT be doable with out TAS, however that's just my hypothesis. Could be impossible without TAS or not, but I'll try that out to see if it works with some weird combinations of characters and vehicals.

Mega mushroom changes vehicle speed to a 95 minimum, but they actually scale sg speed by the same amount as the size modifier stats of the vehicle for whatever reason
@@TheChilo61 probably even more than that considering how much new stuff is being found recently, on top of how much RNG and obscure tech there is in this janky ass game
Its not Humanly possible to supergrind not only would you need to press the button multiple times per frame but you'd also need a controller fast enough to register every input which is currently impossible. Still a cool video.
Conveyer belts and water still limit you to 120. It is also possible to temporarily achieve slightly higher than 120 during a regular supergrind or going through a wall, but mega mushrooms scale maximum sg speed by the same amount as the size multiplier for whatever reason
@@campbellblock3061 why was 120 chosen as max speed by Nintendo? Does anyone know this? And also, does that mean the bigger the vehicle while in a Mega, means that the faster the super grind will be?
@@lowercaseletters_ 1. Idk 2. Yes it seems to correspond exactly with the mega scale multiplier stat, giving spear a 1.75x increase to sg speed up to 210 kmh.

It scales it by the same rate as the mega mushroom’s size increase for each vehicle, corresponding to 210 kmh on spear
@@Nihonium_ALT stars don’t change your size so they don’t have the same property
@@campbellblock3061 so basically, you’re saying the bigger the vehicle, the faster it’ll be able to go?
@@lowercaseletters_ no, the more it scales the faster it will go. often, smaller vehicles scale more so it’s actually more logical to say the opposite
what about star with mega mushroom and spear funky? wouldent it be like 235 kmh?
The coolest montage I've seen in a while, awesome stuff!
2:58 the most cool scene I've ever seen in MKWii

every single one of your vids makes me want to get back to TASing this game, that rYF clip was sick
Do it. A lot of new stuff is going around.
that dkjp one made 0 sense but i love it

Can't wait to use some of these strats in my next WW!
Well, gl on that
I like how the last shortcut goes out of the bounds and cuts the finish line

Very cool, your videos never disappoint
Sick editing my man. Coulda called it "Big Funky Space Program" with how high some of these jumps are!
Mega has always been such an interesting item, so cool to see you explore it more!
Now this is what I needed to wake up to :)
"So everything could theoretically be pulled off on console"
immediately starts off with rfb
Incredible montage!!
None of these would really be practical, but damn, this montage is amazing to watch!

now I wonder
can you do the mushroom gorge gap jump in a star?

Every Npc in the game: i quit
I did the pog face as I saw that last clip unfold
Poor bowser he’s squashed in every other one

Those are really good ones! I wish I could do them
interestung bro thats some amazing stuff
How do you super grind on WII?
it is not possible in real time
Thundercloud strat montage?
Marth: this is possible on console
Also marth: uses tas
holy fuck that's insane a 100% tas would is kinda nutty tbh
we all love this game
That last one WOAH
And I thought Lanky was supposed to be the one that inflates himself just like a balloon.
Damn such a cool video!
Funk

"everything could theoretically be done on console" immediately shows supergrinding

these are so cool
stuff like this is why there will never be an optimized 32 track TAS

Thanks
AMAZING
Yet another reason why a fully optimized 150cc 32 track TAS is near impossible 😔
