Heard the Jin Roh universe is massive though, most of it hasn't even been translated let alone published outside of Japan unfortunately. That being said, both, the Jin Roh Deathsquad AMV, and the Ghost in the Shell Deathsquad AMV, are among the best I've ever seen.

Synths according to the wiki is just an enslaved alien with Combine tech infused. We never get to see their actual race, but it's certain they are powerful, as they seen conquering planets after planets.
I made this entire scene in AI Dungeon where it all started with a simple drinking contest among aliens, then it devolved into senseless killing as the Corpo. Police showed up for an illegal raid and proceed to shoot and kill everyone. It was mad fun to write and even more fun to come up with because of this song with. The squadron of corporate police themselves being made up of guys in that Jin-Roh type armor was in mid too. I think it was in a cyberpunk scenario thing you can "Quick Play."

Besatheus is the place so magic and tech makes sense. I have been working on that one since well before I made that post here. I recreated all of that in a new club bigger and better than before. I'm only working on finishing it right now so I can move the story along finally. It went from D&D based to being thrown into a Cyber City of metallic and neon wonder for my old world character. I plan to have the main character from the other story meet up with the one from this one and battle it out. A Cyber Punk girl that has family ties with the single largest and well known Space Pirates. Her father being the head of said Pirates, and then a Dragon Warrior Priestess eight or nine feet tall, an absolute hulking unit of a dragon lady almost a thousand years old (Still very young for a dragon but age doesn't matter in this place where some people actually live like in the Game Cruelty Squad.) and she has seen battles and wars pass her by. She has learned a great deal about magic and the tech lost to time and lost worlds. A living siege weapon as she is in the Legion. These two are to make a crossover in my universe. The anime is called Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade. Its a political thriller set in alternative dystopian Japan with some allusions to Little Red Riding Hood. Its based on a manga by Mamoru Oshii, who is better known for his Ghost in the Shell.
