I think for the majority of 1:18 collectors that you are BBR's first contact with them... and any other higher-end sealed model manufacturer for that matter. Kudos, mate. You are doing our avocation a great service!
Hello Rob and as allways that's a fantastic video and the F40 is also my favorite from Ferrari . This model presented from BBR is fantastic and I like it very much . The quality of the model and the details are amazing my friend . The yellow color is also fantastic and I like very much the rims from the F40 . Thank you for sharing this great video my friend !✌️👏👏👏🥇🏆🎩👌👍
they did a decent job overall but the one massive glaring fail are the weirdly shaped rear wheel arches. just looks bad. cant wait for the triple comparo...
Great video, lovely yellow F40. One of my favourite cars as well. Making a Fujimi 1/16 Blue/chrome F40 right now. Modelled after a car in Japan. Almost done just battling to get 2k cleared and the final bits on. Good to hear an experienced reviewer point out essentials.
Hello Rob! What F40 in 1/18 Giallo (yellow) would you prefer? Would you take Resin (BBR, GT Spirit, Top Marques) or DieCast (Kyosho)? I guess there is no F40 Giallo Resin from Kyosho. The BBR looks good, but as you mentioned the roll bar is missing and the rear wheel housing is not okay.
I Was never really a fan of any sealed Diecast or Resin model. Honestly, it's just boring. If I recall correctly, Frontiart did or still does produce few opening Resin models, as does MR and BBR. With sealed models in general, smaller details look unrealistic and uncanny once you take a closer look, an example would be painted on seam lines. The best sealed models even for the Ferrari F 40 would have to be from Amalgam Collection which are very expensive. The best and reasonably affordable opening metallic models would be from Exoto XS, CMC and Autoart, especially Exoto XS with a lot of functional mechanisms, which is quite exceptional.
Exotos are very expensive models. Some of their models like the Sauber C9 cross triple digit prices in the secondary market. FrontiArts opening models were also very expensive. They only did the Regera so far.

Lovely model. Something about a yellow Ferrari always gets me.

agreed. first thing I noticed
the biggest one for me is the headlights. The internal lenses are just wrong.
You should get a De Tomaso p72 model by peako.
Great one Rob 👍 feels like the kyosho one is slightly better as I recall... nevertheless can’t wait for the comparison 😉✌️

Yellow and white r my favorites 💛
I hope BBR give you some free models for all the good advertising you do for them rob, another great video
That would be cool but I get the same prices as everyone else that is a MyWay member. BBR has never sent me a free model.

How did BBR and Amalgam get the license from Ferrari? As far as I'm aware, the license is with May Cheong Group (Bburago/Maisto)
looking forward for the F40 comparison model, BTW, the Giallo Tristrato J50 is so attractive
Thanks, the J50 was a must to buy when I saw it and I quickly sold me red version
I would like to see BBR or AUTOart to make a Mercedes project one model.
This f40 by bbr or f40 by ab models? If you have to choose one, wich?
Great video 👍
ab superior
AB is simply the best out there.
Do you guys think $65 dollars are a good price for a 250 GTO Bburago with box ?
To be honest I don't collect that model so don't know what the going rate is for those Bburago 250 GTO's
Super mooi en 👍🏻🤗👊🏻
There is something quite off, but idk what it is
Si dice Ferrari con due R
Wow I'm first comment

For a BBR (and its price) this model has too many flaws.
And first veie
