Yeah a lot of stories are similar. This story reminds me of another story he told about a pregnant mom in yoga pants. Very similar to this one.

Great story - shows how important following up and persistence is in sales. If I had $17 mill to spend on a place in NYC, I'd buy that 10-room duplex on Fifth Avenue (in the Olympic Tower, I think) with the amazing glass staircase. They called the neighborhood Turtle Bay (wasn't sure if that's still commonly used), but I always thought that was Midtown East. Of course you would be my agent Ryan (unless I were friends with Serena Boardman...) - yes, I love NYC real estate even though I haven't lived there in a long time - but your channels are great.

My record was about 2 1/2 years. However, I do weigh my priority to service more serious and ready buyer clients. ‘Go for the lowest hanging fruits’.
The point is to find the right balance and it’s an art. For sure, I haven’t perfected that yet since I did lose some of these type of “long process” clients to other agents or they went direct with seller agents after the holdover. Maybe it’s never meant to be. However, just need to find the right balance to service those ready clients and those that are not so ready yet. Lol 😂
