This is valid advice. The “pinnacle of power” concept has played out in my business career too. Negotiating a deal shifts completely to the other side whenever I’ve given an asking price. It takes skill and practice to sift and sort through any sticking points before a proposal gets brought to the table.

I recently had a problem with my wooden floor and needed it fixed. I contacted 5 providers, 3 replied. 1 just stopped replying to my messages. 2 came to view. Neither sent a quote until I asked them. Neither followed up. …six months later my floor still isn’t fixed and I have the money in my pocket. People are so freaking poor at following up. I agree 100% with everything this guy says

Omg literally howling at following up for three years so funny. I've got such a different strategy , almost the complete opposite of what Sabri does , but everytime I go looking for a new client I get them, even the biggest players. But then my offer is blue ocean and I have the luxury of one very poor competitor with a different model so basically no competition. Learning a lot from Sabri as I diversify into other sectors where it's probably going to get harder.

Hey Sabari! What if they think you are harassing them by calling them and following up often. What do you say to turn that around to work for you and make them a client?
probably stop calling if they don't answer. Or try not sound like a sales person, maybe thats why their not picking up? call someone else and get it right!!!!! the goal is to help the business.....put yourself in their mind, empathise.

Hi Sabri. This proposal we pitched was 4 months ago and they really were ready to go with us but had to “pitch to higher ups”. I see he keeps opening our quote on HubSpot. I’m in about the 9 or 10th follow up. I’m afraid to say your sarcastic VM about forming a great relationship with the VM etc
Could I share in DM what I would say to see if the tonality is on target?
I gathered the recommendation here is to ask what your contact's 'higher-ups' reservations likely are and then call them direct armed with that info. That contact, although meaning well, won't sell it for you as you can.

I study all your content, and of course I bought the book (biblical I would dare to say).
And I wanted to understand one thing....
You often talk about two-step funnels.
So basically lead magnet and godfather offer. But honestly I walked into your world with your book (sell like crazy), and I immediately paid for it, from which I suppose you liquidated the traffic.
Do you consider your free + shipping book as your HVCO? and subsequent upsells / downsells etc - so basically a classic TW funnel, bump + UP / DN sell etc
however often when you talk about the system you use with your customers it is HVCO and subsequently an APP CALL.
Don't you think they can use your exact same one of you? Can u explain better this? maybe the difference about a tripwire funnel or application funnel, and why i shoulde use the second one and not the first? :)

For sure if you have a deal under $1,000....Over that most of the time you will need a phone call or skype call!
Yes, for deals under $1000, you can close it via email EASY especially if you are selling $300-$500 products. Just take a look at Ramit Sethi, he raked in $5 mio from 1 sales page with email follow up system selling $300ish product.
Seems like Grant Cardone has a real competitors when it comes to calling prospects, haha
