Macross Do You Remember Love has got to be one of my all-time favorite anime features. It is an 80's classic that really holds up to this very day. This movie makes me quite nostalgic. They don't make anime like this anymore.

It's a masterpiece. The level of detail in this anime has blown me away since I saw it in '84. There are other absolutely fantastic series, but this one is my absolute favorite of all-time. I never get tired of seeing it.

It's easy to replicate something 1:1 for flight sims but most of the sci-fi stuff only looks good but is not functional or useable.

Mari Iijima was not only the voice of Minmay but also a professional singer with many officially released album and is who sang all of the songs on the Macross soundtrack.

That was quite the Nostalgia Boner. It’s something I am working on is collecting all the older japanimation. Biohunters, D, Jin-Roh, Ghost in the Shell and stuff I haven’t seen in forever. You used to be able to see the love in creations. Now its all soulless with the occasional gem here and there, its not all just DEI its also corporate greed and demand for that fast profit. I am sure it was that way back then too before I knew any better but damn that work was superb!

Peek Quality story, art, and sound, a superb classic. Sadly though, this kind of thing is now likely a thing of the past I fear, Anime nowadays is rather lacking by comparisons, generic even. Some going as low to just be about shock value rather than entertainment.
