From someone who isn’t American, her poem really moved me. After 4 years of listening to people who often could not speak in coherent sentences; it was simply wonderful to be reminded, of the power, the beauty, and the majesty that can be conveyed by the spoken word.
I am also not a native speaker. And after 4 years of listening to Tronald Drumps bloating, blustering, using allways the same phrases, after 4 years listening the trolls and ogers in the WH, i nearly forgot how beautiful and powerful this language can be.

I watched the inauguration at my home in India. My parents didn’t understand english that much but they were asking ‘who’s this little charming girl? Don’t understand what she’s saying but she looks so energetic & confident’. 😃 Lots of love to her from India 💕 🇮🇳

This lady had a very supportive and inventive mother which many of our talented lack. Having a strong grass root arts program in her community has played a major role in her development. Art programs seems to be first on the table in budget cuts in many communities.

From someone who isn’t American, her poem really moved me. After 4 years of listening to people who often could not speak in coherent sentences; it was simply wonderful to be reminded, of the power, the beauty, and the majesty that can be conveyed by the spoken word.
I am also not a native speaker. And after 4 years of listening to Tronald Drumps bloating, blustering, using allways the same phrases, after 4 years listening the trolls and ogers in the WH, i nearly forgot how beautiful and powerful this language can be.

I watched the inauguration ceremony with my lady track team today getting ready for spring meets today and we didn’t practice because I wanted them to soak in this historic day, they all showed up with their Converse All-Stars and pearls wearing their Greek sorority letters. I tell you when Kamala Harris was sworn in, my young ladies started crying with joy and I’m a big 6’1 former professional middle linebacker and I couldn’t hold back my emotions after watching my team shed tears of joy. They also started getting emotional again once this young lady started her poem because most of the team grew up in a single family home

This lady had a very supportive and inventive mother which many of our talented lack. Having a strong grass root arts program in her community has played a major role in her development. Art programs seems to be first on the table in budget cuts in many communities.
