    Hi Jack, i was the original owner of the 2004 IVECO until i sold may buisness in 2013, did 470000 klms in 9 years delivering
    pallets of schweeps products to mager warehouses around Perth, was a great truck and comfortable.
    I recognised it because i put those ciearance lights behind the cab and on the fuel tanks

    I got my Jack Out the Back Cap. That cap has done more world traveling than I have. The cap has a Made in America Logo, it went to Australia to be embroidered and to have the Prenty Downs Station Patch sewn on the side, and then shaped back to the Garland, Texas USA. I hope your Children's School benefit you had going on went well.

    G'day Jack, really enjoying the videos and the broad range of things you are showing from life on the station. I know you've touched on a few things in regards to food out there, camel and beef meat, eggs from the chooks, vegie garden etc.... It seems like you try to be as self sufficient as possible however obiously there's things you can't grow/produce yourself and I know you've got Kmart at the station but I haven't seen a coles or woolies there.. How often do you resuply food/beer/toilet paper etc.. do you do a dedicated "food resuply" run once every month or two, or is it more a case of bringing those things out when you have other loads going up to the station etc. Would be cool to see a video covering this aspect of life on the station and it would probably give viewers another level of appreciation of the remoteness that you live with. It's not like you can just pick up some more chewing gum from the servo down the road.
    Sorry for the rambling wall of text, keep up the great work. Congrats on your channels growth in the last week, the youtube algorithm must be smiling down on you.

      Absolutely we are planning on doing a resupply episode, unfortunately Jasmine and I haven't been away from the station together for quite some time, so haven't been able to film it, I also will have to overcome my shyness of filming in a public place!
      We have had many discussions on how we will cover it well.
      Glad you have found the channel, and we are exited about the growth of the channel these past weeks.

    Hey Jack you should contact your local councillor about the condition of the road 😊Thanks for the video

      @jack_out_the_back  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well it's an interesting piece of road that the shire technically can't work on, but have permission to.
      It's now main roads that are supposed to be sealing it, but negotiations are very slow.

    What breed are those bulls?

    Good looking boys. They seem nice and calm. Will they get a bit wild after a while of being out on the station?

    • @jack_out_the_back
      @jack_out_the_back  ปีที่แล้ว

      They will remain very calm, it's only when they get stirred up by vehicles and helicopters to muster (which we rarely use i.e only two days in the entire time we have had Prenti).
      There's one who was a bit firery but I placed him in the East on the harder country.

    What breed of cattle are those Jack? I ask, as my wife's grandfather used to raise Brahman cattle outside Mackay, and yours look vaguely similar.

    • @jack_out_the_back
      @jack_out_the_back  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Steve, they are droughtmaster. Which is the line we are bringing in over our shorthorn cows. They hold condition really well out here.
      They are Bos indicus, so derived from the Brahman.
