- We have developed a standalone swap harness for those interested in running the latest 10 speed automatic 10L90 in their Gen V swap project! Seen here behind a Camaro ZL1 take out dropped off by a local customer, we used this as our test bed to iron out all of the details to support the 10 speed automatic. Check it out!
We have found that the 10L90 is fully compatible with our tap shift switch box when used with our Tap Shift/Reverse Light CAN Relay, so you can take full control of your swap project's up and down shifts at your desire. This will also enable you to easily hook-up reverse lights, something seldom seen with 6L80, 8L90, and 10L90 swaps - but fully functional with our Reverse Light CAN Relay!

When will someone ever do the 4th gen camaro (98-02 )10speed swap ??
I'd like to swap a 10L90 into a 2JZ powered BMW 850i. With a manual I typically let out at the top of a gear like 4th or 3rd but with an auto I have a tendency to keep my foot in it longer and enjoy hearing the exhaust crackle on a quick shift.
I hope you guys are working on a swap harness for the new 3 liter Duramax with the 10L80 trans. That swap might get really popular in the future.

8 and 10 speeds are for lt motors only..

The 8 and 10l90 are LT motors only..they should make one..
2001 silverado that came originally with a 4l60e.......... will this work for it?
I want to swap the 10l90e in place of my 6l80 for my 2019 Silverado 4x4. I assume I would need custom driveshafts and trans crossmember at the least?
Those would be the least of your worries. Something like this isn't possible at this time until a standalone transmission controller manufacturer comes out with something to achieve this goal. Since we don't specialize in manufacturing standalone transmission controllers, we can't be of much help in your situation. But if you want to swap a 2019 Silverado engine with a 10 Speed into one of your classic cars, give us a shout.

I have a 2016 Silverado awd/4x4 with an L83 and a 6 speed. I would love to have the 10 speed. Would I need the transmission control and wiring harness and a tune? Or just the trans control and harness? Or just the harness and tune?

Are you guys working on a harness to be able to swap a a 10 speed into a nnbs E38/t87a ?
No a harness wouldn't be an issue, it's the communications between the engine/ECM/TCM etc that's the problem. A standalone transmission controller company (like TCI or Compushift..etc) would be who would need contacted for something like that. Developing a standalone transmission controller for the 10 Speed would be nice, but it's way out our scope.
So I can put the 10 speed and lt4 in any car and have a fully operational and tunable transmission?

@@dalehall2993 spear tech makes a harness but you still need a pcm and tcm that are matched up and reflashed through hp tuners which means sending yours in or buying them. Once you have that with a standalone harness you can then tune your setup in any car. There are no aftermarket trans Controllers for ten speed yet

No one makes an adapter for that.
