    It's just weird the whole "done with the 90s" thing. This is the first time in NBA history that there's some huge movement to ignore an entire past decade. If the current NBA has to pretend an entire decade vanished in order to feel superior, that is suss and kinda pathetic.

    If Jordan went to the Blazers, he probably would have won even more championships, and won them earlier. Portland had better pieces in place than the Bulls. The Blazers already had Drexler. Portland went to the Finals in 1990 and 1992 _without_ Jordan. With Jordan they probably would have been winning titles from 1987 onward. Maybe Jordan retires with 8 titles in 12 finals appearances.

    I was blessed to have been born in 1979. I can tell you _without hesitation_ , that the 1980's was the Golden Age for entertainment.
    The 1990's was the Silver Age. Things started going downhill fast after Pac and Biggie got killed. But to be a kid in the 1980's and a
    teen in the 1990's is the greatest blessing a guy could ever hope for!

    I think if Lebron had went to college he wouldn’t of made so many mistakes in his career. You learn a lot about growing up in college and most of all you learn “team” basketball in college. Lebron is all about himself and getting his and his teams suffer a lot because of it. I definitely think he probably wouldn’t of crumbled in the playoffs like he did pre Cleveland the second time if he had went to college. Going straight to the pros out of high school has never really done great things for athletes. Either their personal life or professional careers suffer in the beginning from it.

  • @tudorm6838
    @tudorm6838 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Done with the 90's? Ok, but Wilt can never be challenged by Lebron. Wilt is all-time 2nd in PPG, all-time best in RPG, and all-time best in BPG. For RPG and BPG nobody is even close, except Bill Rusell. Young Wilt was more agile than Lebron and later was stronger than Shaq, Barkley. or any other player.

    BTW, that broken foot in 1985 delayed the ascent of the Bulls by 2 years. Jordan missed most of that 1985-86 season, so it was a missed opportunity
    for Chicago to improve on their record from the season before. In that 1985-86 season, the Bulls had Jordan their primary scorer, Orlando Woolridge their
    2nd leading scorer, Quintin Dailey, their 3rd leading scorer, and they had acquired George Gervin, who would have been their 4th leading scorer. Gervin was_way past his prime, but could still get buckets. That 1985-86 team probably could have won 40 + games. But because of Jordan's injury, they only won 30 games and ended up playing the #1 seed Celtics in the first round of the playoffs, where they got swept. The following season Wooldridge, Dailey and Gervin had left the team. That again set the team back another year. Jordan had to shoulder the offensive load that season pretty much by himself. The Bulls met the Celtics in the playoffs again in the first round of the playoffs and got swept again. Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant arrived the next season. And people wrongfully give Pippen's arrival credit for the Bulls' postseason success. But it was really because the Bulls ascent was delayed 2 seasons because of Jordan's foot injury in 1985 and the subsequent roster changes that occurred after that season.
