    Laimbeer was actually a good role player for the Pistons. He was their primary instigator, but he was also one of the few centers at the time who also shot threes.

    I remember watching so many of these games with my dad...it's one thing to see the highlights, but it's another thing to watch this guy play games in realtime...it was like watching a superhero...no, he didn't win every battle, but he gave everything he had every single game...MJ is "THE" basketball God. An Elemental of athletics...If HD TV was around then, there would be no LeBron Jordan debate.

    Great reaction per usual, godspeed on your fracture recovery. Regarding the post reads...when the defender puts the armbar on your back, you spin in the direction of the player's elbow point. In other words, if you're posting and the defender armbars you with his left arm, you spin fade to YOUR left, he cannot recover in time with the same arm because...as you start your crab dribble, get as low as possible, because when you spin, your elbow will contact his elbow, effectively trapping his elbow, and creating a spring board for you to momentum off of. TH-cam MJ post fade aways....you'll notice he gets very low on his crab dribbles before executing the spin/shimmy fade. 2 things, what I mentioned before, and 2, you're forcing the defender to lower their center of gravity, and to lean on you, once they lean on you, you use that pressure momentum to spin off, hard for them to elevate their center of gravity after keeping it so low with so much grounding force. Practice this with your homies when you recover. Hope this helps, may you become the John Wick of fade aways.

    • @itzkhiiii
      @itzkhiiii  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      thank you for that insight,i also noticed before he shimmy’s into the shot he plants BOTH of his feet,that way he has no explainable pivot and he can fade left or right.Also the defender does not know where to fade at either.Hopefully i will master this,I plan to and y’all will see it first hand.Once again thank you for helping me out in this aspect of the game

    About the "push-off", I always stay by my reasoning.
    Try pushing off someone with your pushing hand elbow NOT getting past your shoulder, and your hand trajectory is downwards. go rewind that play frame by frame, that's what I saw.

    Like I said, I watch the bulls way before Michael Jordan was drafted, and do they sucked and then they threw out the Michael Jordan. He struggled with a really bad team. He was amazing they drafted Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, traded Charles Oakley, which I hated that trade I hated to get Bill Cartwright with the ugliest shot I’ve ever seen ever, but going back to what you were saying at the beginning for the first three or four years Scottie Pippen choked. He choked migraines. He broke in the pressure, but then he learned how to win the same way Michael learn how to win, and Michael took him under his wing and all the bullshit right now I was Scottie Pippen swimmer, Michael Jordan I don’t know what’s going on with pip. I don’t know I think Scotty Pippen needs a therapist. I know Michael Jordan son, his band Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife, so what who cares build a bridge and get fucking over it.

      Exactly, that was his time to prove that he was a good player without jordan,i believe he was 3rd in MVP voting that year

    Even though I’ve seen these highlights several times, it is still awesome watching him do that

    Why do you reactors always mention Larry Bird when you do an MJ video.I love Larry but if y'all want to compare him with someone compare him with a player like him like Luca Doncic or Dirk Norwitzki. You really can't compare anyone to M.J.He is an alien

      because bird is one of the goat players,i love michael jordans game and he is my goat,but he is not perfect,most of the time when he played bird he didnt win,bird beat him,there was a reason why he wasnt winning in the 80s besides him not having a team

      I agree with you I was around I'm 66yrs old and Bird was my favorite player but I'm talking about playing styles.Bird could score at will without having to jump over the backboard .You see Jordan and all the high flying dunks but my point is every dunk is 2 points

    Nobody does the Red Assault series. It gives you a more complete understanding of why he was great. 1, 2, and 3 Red Assault series.
