Create a Points Repetition with axis systems along the curve and a surface. Then do a User Pattern on those axis systems. The pattern objects will have same orientation as the curve.
@@FoxxyCZ thank you very much! I'm not sure if my company has a Catia of a version recent enough to support auto axis creation in point repetition, but this is indeed the correct way. I'll check it out 👍🏻

What if the pattern object is not a hole and has to maintain the same orientation with respect to the curve?
