thanks for asking this question (i'm an engineer who studies generator designs: there are many on youtube) the short answer is "no" (not viable), although zafer's alternator demonstrates how electricity is induced in copper coils by strong magnets set N, S (these produce alternating magnetic fields that induce AC voltage output from the coils). this has been known since faraday's time (1830s). the long answer is gearing and rectifying circuits can be installed, so source IN (drill) can be replaced with hand-cranking or pedal pumping. professional rotary alternators (like the ones used at hoover dam) are much bigger, fitted with water or steam driven turbines, that can power entire cities. a rectifier is required to output 5v (or more) DC current which modern devices like smart phones and LED lighting require. (viable and useful applications). generally, the more windings on the copper coils and the more magnets you can install on the rotor produces a viable, steady voltage. (this current can be fed to a capacitor that stores enough electricity to fully charge a phone, or provide constant 12v lighting). best rotary alternator model (for home use) i have seen is here (using a double rotor setup with N52 magnets): th-cam.com/video/tb3iN4m9Bik/w-d-xo.html

Could be wrong but it looked like he wired them all in series, which I wouldn’t think would work? But I guess it did 🤷🏼

The main problem is that the coils are not coated with metal so no force is there to generate more voltage if i am right like😅

brother zafer, when you built the generator you didn't use an iron core on the stator, maybe that would cause a lot of amperage to be lost
