Why Super Mario Maker 2 FAILED!

Super Mario Maker 2 failed! Well, not really. It has sold around 8 million units, which is great, like it's really good and even better than it's predecessor. But when you compare it to New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, a port of a generic Super Mario Bros game that sold around 13 million units, then it's a bit behind. In theory Super Mario Maker 2 is an endless game and should entice more people to buy the game, but it still lost to a port of a generic Mario game. So why did it sell less than New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, well we will discuss that today.

Absolutely! I just meant that it performed a lot worse than New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, which in general is seen as a worse game than Super Mario Maker 2.

@@gamesonconsole You'd be surprised by how many old people play mario, a large chunk of the old people prefer 2d mario platforming than anything else. same goes to big families.
