jon Q inhabe been saying this as well. MOS should have been Faora finding earth, fighting and searching for codex etc.. her death at the end would have been dramatic for Superman and Zod. The ending of MOS one should have been the TV screens with distortion and we first hear Zods voice and demands. Would have been an amazing set up for part 2.

My beef is with the HOW DARE YOU HAVE SUPERMAN KILL ZOD people, or other nit pickers. Kal certainly would kill if there was literally no other way, as happened in this movie, I've just been a comics nerd so long, I can't not nitpick myself sometimes.

I absolutely loved the fact that I got to see Faora live action!! She was so calm but brutal at the same time. And I like how even though she was more advanced hand to hand combat wise compared to Clark -- she didnt so much overpower him in a fight, she was a great fit to be a sub villian.

They're not immune to bullets I think. But are pretty strong because of the lower gravity compared to krypton. The suit defenses help them prevent damage. If they absorbed sun radiation like kal, they would've been immune.
She is how a strong female should be played, she doesn't give a shit about her gender and neither do we. A bit like trinity in the matrix.

When you think about it she did not have to endulge the soldier in the knife duel , she could have kiled him in less than a second with her bare hands , she pretty much did it to preserve his dignity as a soldier, the other ones were not a lucky though.

Her actress should've been the Captain Marvel, her act is perfect. Even though she doesn't show much emotion throughout the movie, when she actually shows it, she instantly convinces people that she's a hardcore and honorable Kryptonian warrior, not the other way around. Brie Larson on the other hand acts like she didn't want to be in a Marvel movie at all, but she ended up taking the role anyway because of money.
She fits faora VERY well though so no.

Fought with nothing held back, outshined the main villain and called the main protagonist weak. Talk about being a threat, this woman made the whole movie for me.
I don’t care what people say about the German accent. When Antje Traue speaks, it sounds very sexy.
Antje Traue et her character Faora are one of the best reasons to give MoS its chance, despite its flaws. She should have had waaaay more screentime (they should have given her Amy Adams' :D). Each of her appearances excited me more than Michael Shannon's. And it's not JUST because the actress is stunningly beautiful. By the way, one of the great crime of the 2010s is the fact that Hollywood didn't make a good use of her.

What would it be like for her to go up against Supergirl instead of Superman.
Faora would definitely be a more skilled fighter than Supergirl. Wonder Woman has defeated Faora in the comics because WW is one of the most supremely skilled fighters in the entire DCEU (their combat skills were even specifically mentioned in the dialogue of the comic), but Faora would have Kryptonian speed and strength but had also been genetically bred and trained to be a fighter. Kara would likely have stronger powers due to more exposure to the yellow sun, but it's quite likely Faora would give her significant problems in combat. WW beats Kara's ass every time due to vastly superior combat skill. The disparity wouldn't be as great against Faora, but it would still be a big factor.
Faora should have been in the pilot. She would have beaten Supergirl's ass, and that insult of a TV show wouldn't exist. :D

Reading what I already said directly referencing WW vs Supergirl battles would have been the way to go here. WW has defeated just about every Kryptonian at some point including even Superman multiple times and pretty much every time regarding Supergirl/ Powergirl. WW was beating Zod and Faora at the same time for awhile saving Superman from them. She had freakishly strong Mongol AND Kryptonian Non hogtied with her lasso by herself. These are not things you do if you are completely outclassed as you claim. Even within the text of the comic in her thought bubbles Supergirl talked about WW being too fast and strong for her to handle, comparing being overwhelmed by her directly to Kal, Superman himself. This was right before she got KTFO cold by WW.

It was the case that in most comics the Kryptons had total physical supremacy.
It's different in some comics, but mostly, almost all, a Kryptonian is physically superior.
And just as Supergirl thinks / says that WW is stronger than she is, there are enough comics where WW herself admits that she is physically inferior to a Kryptonian.
Or do you want to ignore something now to justify a logical error?
