Shawn I've never heard or seen anyone play harmonics like that especially in those positions. Wow great piece of music. Love the harmonies on the bridge.
So Shawn, you know that sound you make when you watch someone do something with ease that is impossible, incredible and beautiful? No, of course you don’t…. 😂 Brilliant work!
When Brian designs a pedal it's always so well thought out. This pedal looks to me like a very good pedal for session players much like the Timeline became. However there are some very unique combinations coming out of that pedal.
Thanks so much, Gary! Sorry I missed you while you were out here in Nashville. Congratulations my friend on the awards you received! Well deserved indeed!
Great, ambient track at the beginning! Thanks Shawn! Wampler make fantastic devices. And ...I must say... Wampler deserve much better distribution in Europa...
Thanks so much! I had a Jeff Beck ballad along with a Coctuae Twins tune stuck in my head at the same time, and then I started thinking about how cool George Harrison was.
@@ShawnTubbsI think it would be great if you teamed up with a lyricist and vocalist for some of the demo intro tracks you’ve composed, especially the ballads. This one and the intro you did for a Royer ribbon mic you did a few years ago really deserve to be complete songs. Just my two cents, anyway.
Sounds great. But what a beautiful piece of music as the intro. Lovely melody played almost entirely with natural harmonics-Amazing! I have to say I really like the way you often avoid ‘the usual’ chord progressions- very cinematic. Thanks
Off topic from the video, but I am trying to decide between the Revv D25 and Suhr Bella. Since you own both, I thought I would ask for your opinion. Is the D25 in the same league as the Bella? I am after great cleans. The D25 is appealing due to the weight among other things.
Both are great amps. The Bella is a based on an Ultraphonix modified Band Master. The D25 is closer to a Deluxe. The D25 won't have quite as much clean headroom as the Bella but it will sound better at edge of breakup. If you feel like you need more headroom, go with the Bella. If you need an amp that runs nicely at low volume and stage volumes that also includes convenience of the added Two Notes reactive load and direct out, the D25 might work better for you.
Stunningly beautiful intro piece, and I love that you ended on B minor without resolving to G. Pedal sounds fantastic, and “Catacombs” is a great name for a delay+reverb pedal. Question: from 10:37 to 10:47 you played a series of pedal steel-type bends, with volume swells, but your right hand seems to be on the trem bar, not on the volume knob; how did you do that, did you use a volume pedal?! Lastly, I caught that little bit of Eric Johnson’s “Trademark” you played at 21:38, one of my favorite EJ tunes! Great demo all around!
Shawn, I enjoy your playing style and skills and want to know if you’ll move to SC and be my neighbor - aside from that impossible dream I always wondered why you never put out a download of music you’ve written. I just happened on a link that listed the “Demolition” of music you’ve recorded. Is this just licks of you demoing pedals or is it actually an instrumental of songs? Chris
Hey Sean, actual serious question. At 11 minutes you hit the little I don’t know button over there on that little thingy and then you had an act harmonizer in the mix. Does this thing have an octave harmonizer in it? Kinda like a big Al thing from the 80s. If that is true, how do you access that? Remember I’m an idiot so talk slow and use little words and rhymes. Another knucklehead
You're not an idiot. What you heard was the "shimmer" reverb which is one of the 5 reverbs available on the Catacombs. It's shifting the reverb up an octave.
Dude... that intro😮 . Haunting and sweet.....
Thanks so much!!
Shawn I've never heard or seen anyone play harmonics like that especially in those positions. Wow great piece of music. Love the harmonies on the bridge.
Thanks so much! Jeff Beck was incredible with harmonics and trem arm melodies.
Look up Jeff Beck-Where were you , insane harmonics and whammy bar control
Very beautiful playing Shawn, thanks!!!

Bro, that's so sweet I can taste it from Texas! Getting a lot out of a simple rig seems to be a minimalist's dream

Thanks so much, Keith!!
Beautiful intro!
Thanks so much Matt!!
Great playing, even better demo, thanks Shawn! I don't know if I've ever had a reverb make me angry, but I know what you mean, lol!
I have anger issues.😜 Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words!
Great Intro! It had a wonderful Glen Campbell vibe.
Thanks so much! I had a Jeff Beck ballad along with a Coctuae Twins tune stuck in my head at the same time, and then I started thinking about how cool George Harrison was.

Haha, I'm not at all hip to gaming but cool!! I'll check it out!

Awesome intro!

That Suhr Tele with the Filtertrons sounds amazing.
Thank you. I'm blessed to have that guitar.
Great review. You sold it to me 👍
NICE tune !🎸😎🎶💸
Thanks very much!
Please please please record an instrumental album!!! 🤘
I need to get my act together!! Thanks so much for watching.
@@ShawnTubbsyeah Shawn youre sooo not together 😱😱😱😱🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Knucklehead!🤪🤪🤪🤪
This is one great Delay / Reverb unit Shawn. Amazing unit, But I understand this doesn't have any ADT. Still works for me though.
Beautiful intro
Thanks very much!!
Sweet High Tension Wires vibes!
that intro is incredible! I'm going to copy it and then copyright it!!!
Haha, thanks so much!

Thanks so much! Yeah, I was using a volume pedal for the faux steel stuff. Trademark is a great tune. EJ is the best!

Thanks so much! Demolition is a collection of my demo performances that have been re-mixed and mastered.
I enjoy your playing so I just purchased your Demolishing download.
Thanks, Chris
@@Chris-yq7xv Thanks so much!!

For some reason some of your playing made me think of death wish 2 soundtrack A shadow in the city by Jimmy Page.
I don't think I've ever heard that before. I'll check it out!!
Those were expensive chords on the first part!🤣
Wampler always makes great sounding gear but it looks a bit boring and that matters these days to most of us
Right on, I think it looks cool but to each his or her own. Thanks for chiming in!
A little Jeff Beck style! Beautiful melody Shawn 💙
Thanks so much!! Jeff was the best.
