I love Andy's playing style!! He seems to fingerpick everything, using his thumb like a regular pick (maybe he has a long nail?), and I think it's so cool!!
All right, Cinnamon Girl. One of the covers we used to play. Watching you play it with 6th & 1st strings in drop D helped me figure it out more. Thanks.
Pog III. Somehow I don't think everyone has quite got their head around this one yet! I haven't quite, but it seems promising. Andy, your picks are Excellent! I like them all.
You shluld definitely check out the Frybread Fuzz by Native Audio. Got one earlier this year and its incredible! So simple but so versatile and usable. Deserves to be on way more people's radar
The one new pedal that came out this year for me was the JHS Flight Delay. I now know why they stopped making the Lucky Cat. Now if they ever made a stereo version… 🤔
I played an old version of the Germanium Pre-amp and was completely underwhelmed by it. I want to hear the new version of it. I have a good feeling they fixed the EQ on it
I have only 5 pedals- and yet I have compression, overdrive, distortion, fuzz, rotary, phaser, flanger, Uni-vibe, 3 different reverbs, and 2 delays, one with modulation on my board. How? Keeley pedals. First you get a Keeley Aria- compression, overdrive (red dirt), and distortion in one pedal. The you follow that with a Keeley Dark Side Workstation- flanger, rotary, phaser, Uni-vibe, delay, and fuzz all in one pedal. Then into a UA Lion '68- Keeley doesn't make an amp sim modeler thingy like this, if they did- I would have it. Then into the Keeley Parallax, 3 reverbs, and modulated delay. The Parallax is like the Keeley Caverns, for shoe gazers and stoners. Ppl see my little board and think I'm a minimalist- but we cover everything from Floyd to Yes to the Police, Metallica, Collective Soul, Emmy Lou Harris, Nirvana, Puscifer, and if I can get the guys into it, hopefully- soon some Deftones. Plus, we do original stuff as well. Keeley is amazing. I can't wait to try the Octa Psi.
@@Thebadguitaristcast zoma, rotary, halo core v2, octa psi, I Get Around, California girls, and all the 4-1 series pedals, and the new sweetwater exclusive pedals. SO DARN MANY!!! [Edit]: How could I have forgotten about the Monterey 69
@@RobertKeeleyTV Robert, I saw you have BEAN making videos with that weird Harp Lady. It was cool to see how good natured you were! Even though I probably would've thrown up, I was disappointed to see you didn't eat the beans. lol. Hope you and your team have a Merry Chritmas or a Happy Holiday or a Bean Free Dinner at your casa. 😅😅😅
Is it just me or is there a fundamental absurdity to guitar gear? I buy a pedal that perfectly captures the sound of a vintage valve amplifier. But the pedal uses transistors to model the sound and behaviour of the original circuit. It is therefore eminently possible for transistors to sound exactly like valves. But everyone looks down their noses at solid state amps. This is insane.
Thank you Andy! Means a TON coming from you.

All my top pedals this year have been from Robert Keeley
awww Thank You! My team and I have been working for years to get to this point.
Dude same here. I’ve been putting together a top ten list for my podcast and I feel like it’s unfair that at least half my list are Keeley pedals.

@RobertKeeleyTV still hoping to see El Monte one of these days.

Cinnamon Girl ... worthy pedal
Song at 5:00?
Shaka, when the walls fell!
Can I do qotsa stuff with the octa psi?
Hologram Electronics' Chroma Console!
The Chroma Console was released in 2023.
Thumbnail mistake it's 2024 not 2025😊
What’s that Black Greco les paul?? I mean, it’s pretty obvious, but how? What? Who?
uh oh a typo lol
I'm sorry but if your sitting around playing, using that Octa PSI pedal, your a weirdo 😂😂...or mabey a mad scientist.
hey, I resemble that remark! ;-)
I haven’t been able to stop using mine.
A travesty! This list can't be complete without the Meowdulator!
🎤😸

Third man records deals be paying in full upfront 😂
Delay being a late bloomer is hilarious.
Nope, I meant the category of Delay/Reverb. Surprisingly not many options when I started demoing back in 2007.
@@AndyDemos I caught that. Spot on.
@@AndyDemos I mean it’s funny that delay took its time. You know, because it’s a time based effect.
@@Curt.dammit Haha, gotcha! Sorry, sometimes I’m clever but this case just lucky.
@@AndyDemos I figured you slipped that pun in on purpose!
But, yes. The combined effect of Delay/Reverb sure took its time getting fleshed out.
All boomer pedals 😅
Do boomers use the chroma console to play their blues licks?
@michaelegan3522 no but gen x does
Explain the difference between the other pedals and boomer pedals, please.
