- 2006 RAV4 TPMS sensor replacement using beadbuster tool
not that hard
If you get your tpms sensor checked and they say to replace all of them ask to see the scan tool.
The battery do not die all at once one guy scan my tpms 2 to 3 years ago and said 1 needed to be replace so I asked them to replace just the one.
He did tell me they should all be replaced but did not push me to replace all of them like other people. 2nd sensor died 2 to 3 years after the tire shop and I wanted to try to replace it myself this time.
just a DIY guy going to put up videos of what I fix around the house

Great video
I recently replaced the rim for the full size spare on my 2006 RAV4 because it had rusted out and was leaking air. I got a rim from an auto salvage place on eBay and it had a TPMS sensor still on it (salvaged from a 2011 RAV4). The tire shop couldn't get the TPMS sensor off my old rusted out rim, so I just had them put the tire on the "new" rim with the TPMS sensor that it luckily came with. I need to program the "new" TPMS sensor to my car. Would this be possible with the MaxiTPMS 508 too you used? Thanks in advance.
I was not successful using the TPMS 508 to program it. I forgot one step to activate the tpms sensor. I used a obd2 ThinkDiag to write the tpms number in. www.rav4world.com/threads/tpms-sensor-reprogram.91186/
look at forum 9 for how to activate the sensor.
You put new sensor?
Yes, I put in a Toyota sensor in it.
What did you lube the tire with?
Soapy water
