DISCLAIMER: I am aware that not every train in this video is doing quite 70, but most of them are doing pretty much 70, so I put 70 for the title. Enjoy!
It shouldn’t matter all that much. The premise is the same. People can be vain sometimes, but unless any of these trains were REALLY going slow, people should shut up! XD Great video.
Using my home radar, I clocked that last train doing 69.97 so I suggest changing your title to "69.97 MPH BNSF Z-Train/Intermodal Compilation" so some greedy lawyer doesn't sue you for false advertising. I see Amazon Prime has spread like a malignant cancer as Bezo certainly needs the money.
Awesome video!! I live near the Colombia River gorge in Oregon. There are lots of rail fanning opportunities there. Thank you for sharing. Great videos! Keep" 'em roll'n!"😊
man i live an hour away from the BNSF line that goes from the AZ NM state border all the way to Kingman, and ive seen a lot of high speed trains on that line over the many times i’ve traveled along side I-40 lol. thx for this video though, i gotta sleep 😂
Another wonderful and entertaining video, huge congratulations on 2K subs, you deserved it! Keep striving with your amazing content you do and following your passions! I’m sure your awaiting milestones will be reached before you know it! 🙂🚂
Thanks man! First clip is the Clovis Sub in New Mexico, the clip at 8:01 is the BNSF Seligman Sub in Holbrook, Arizona, and the rest are from the BNSF Panhandle Sub in Panhandle, Texas
@@BrianBarbera-o9k incorrect. Nation wide speed limit for freights is 70. Only very few lines hit 70, however. Most stay around 50-60. Amtrak is limited to 80 except everywhere but the northeast corridor.
@@TNandTXRailfan Amtrak is absolutely not limited to 80 mph outside of the Corridor. As an example they run 90 mph on a good part of the Southwest Chief route. They run 90 mph in parts of California as well. They run 110 on the Michigan line and 110 in parts of upstate New York.
@ In order for any train to exceed 79 MPH it must have operable Cab Signals, ATS (Automatic Train Stop) or ATC (Automatic Train Control). Without any of those systems train speed is capped at 79 MPH. There is no “80 MPH max” for Amtrak trains. It’s 79 MPH. And of course potentially slower depending on what the max speed it based on track classification. All of the above is FRA regulations and not any particular railroad rule alone.

In NM, AZ, and CA I've clocked Z trains at 72-73 mph in 90 mph territory for passenger trains.
Love how the engineer does a "hey whats up!" Couple blasts at 20:42! I think thats awesome when they do that!
That first train is an absolute fucking monster. 9 locomotives, 200+ loaded cars, almost 40,000 combined horsepower, and he was floring it
They sounded like F1 or Indy cars
The size of that first train is just incomprehensible 😮
The lenght of that trains is impressive. Greetings from Europe.
love seeing American industrial might in full force
130 cars in the front half of that first train, 97 in the trailing half. 8 locomotives. 956 total axles. That is insane.
It’s especially insane when emergency vehicles have to wait at crossings for these super-long cargo conga lines.
Wonderful video my friend. Big thumbs up 👍🏻 See you around
Thanks!
Nothing beat's a screamin GE!

Thanks airing and sharing the outstanding video with magnificent locomotives. Railfanning endeavors are promising. Bliss

Fantastic video my friend like 20
Thanks!
Awesome fast trains❤😮
Thanks!
This video is a blast! My only suggestion would be some kind of mic shield to cut down on “wind burn.” Otherwise, I say keep up the great work!
The very first train, 4 DPUs!!!??? Such majesty!
Nice Catch Congratulations
Thanks!
I counted over 220 cars on the first video. WOW!
awesome. One thing I noticed, without horn, trains are deadly silent.
Unless they ring the locomotive bell at every crossing.
That first train was a hell of a long train

@@TNandTXRailfan No problem :)
Out near Dalhart, TX by chance? Or northwest in the Panhandle. I feel like I see that silo on the way to Colorado every year.

Great video.

I'm actually coming down to Texas next year to do videos, just in the panhandle area! Any recommendations on where to sit?
Waow super video frens
Do you have general locations for these? What state maybe?
cool video !! good job
Very Cool
Hell all that tonage moving anything above 25 is scary 😂😂
What is the location?
Great video
Thanks Serna! A grey ghost leader 4543 with a NS Dash 9 second leading a SB manifest passed the Victoria camera this morning at 5:36 AM.
4 DPU's though ???
Yup, lol
Just 3 will be online for power at the most.
I never realized just how long the traina are out west. Here in Ohio they dont get nearly that long.
The best is Train 1:4x4x0 meets train 2: a 4 lead Z Train
I thought i was a fan of high speed passenger trains until i saw freights.
Four lead locomotives, four mid train DPUs…you just have two trains at that point😂
It actually is two trains. We build them separately then combine them at some point. The middle DP will only have 3 of the units online for power
7046 leading when the other train tail ends
Desolate looking Damplace
I can't even count rhe amount of GEVOs in this video lol
How long are these trains ? They look like around two miles...?
Combo trains can be up to 16,000 feet so just over 3 miles
Show
Cool. Shot you a subscribe
Imagine if they had to rely on electric lines. It would be double the length
with motored freight cars and 3rd rail we would have trains that would move faster than this, be longer and start and stop on a dime
Europeans would be impressed
At our freight trains, certainly not our passenger trains.
Railroader here my fav train to work was the Z I got home faster😂
Dpu alright
F'n bs is bad ass!!

E bem diferente de ver esses trains doque ver os trains do Brasil que nunca andam nessa velocidade e nem com esse tipo de carga
Эта пусть двойной но экспресс.

no train can go Any faster than 50 mph 70 mph at 20 miles over to the limit normally a train doesn't go any Faster if 30 mph
