I wish modern gaming was multidimensional like DMC3. In devil may cry I'm always learning new things by watching how others play. There are so many countermoves that don't come intuitively. This game is so fucking deep it's ridiculous. Dark Souls....PFFFFFF Devil May Cry 3 completely blows that shit out of the water.
Another interesting thing about the Sparda costume is that your shadow is actually the DT bug form and not the actual outline of Sparda. Think about that for a hot second

You get the 'Super Dante' costume after beating very hard, but does it have unlimited devil trigger on the *Special Edition*? Because i heard it doesn't which sucks so much! :(

I mean, crazy combos if you spam at right moment on the combo, or spam circle on gunslinger too, triggerate a more powerful hit, like spiral. But Dmc5 is very good though, well made and Nero's gameplay is improved, Dante has finally awesome weapons and some new mechanics.
have to beat "hard" to unlock "very hard" though, plus "normal" to unlock "hard". Its kinda annoying when a game forces you to repeat it to unlock higher difficulties but luckily DMC 3 is entirely worth the replay.
Coatless dante have different taunts and also...force edge have littely different attack range but about that i'm not so sure Also...dmc 1 dante is littely more responsive in air
You can also do it with the Rebellion too. It isn't as effective and you can't attack with it, but it's nice for situations like the Gigapede boss fight.
You know it would be cool if there is something like that in the reboot game, that you can play the white haired dante and maybe special edition with vergil like in this game, i buyed extra the HD collection so that i can play with Vergil again, cuz that guy has something that i like a lot more than Dante.

or to unlock all of them at the main menu just hold down L1,L2,R1,R2 and rotate the left analog stick till u hear devil may cry and when u got to the mission select screen they'll all be unlocked and all the gallery stuff
the differences for super dante and super sparda is that super sparda is BEYOND op infinite dt which heals....super dante you don't heal in dt super sparda you can infinitely use doppelganger quicksilver and dt AND heal all super dante has is unlimited devil trigger..no healing noting nothing but unlimited dt BUT beating very hard mode before dmd mode is advised as super dante the upside of using him in dmd is in dt you take significantly less damage which will help you in the long run especially facing vergil on the final mission I had a few items to help but I had NO difficulty what so ever with vergil while in devil trigger...not to mention some areas you can cheese past by using Nevan's air raid although the lightning bolts from nevans air raid is pretty much usless to any enemy that gets into dt (yes the enemies can dt in dmd) once an enemy DTs they take half the damage so air raid is only viable for low health situations I found it useful when facing the Arachne before fighting Nevan and the first 2 fights with vergil he best time to use it though is when you fight the heart of leviathan dt air raid and spam between the right organ (it will absorb your gauges if you don't take it out) then when its down get the heart in the middle it will take a bit but you wont be damaged at all so basically in a nutshell spam air raid if your low on health cause it will put you out of reach from most enemies the only enemy besides some bosses that still can hit you if you arnt moving fast enough in air raid is the van guards and they are purebull shit will their teleporting shit nearly impossible to dodge unless your moving before they even teleport and even then unless you have the timing of a (no damage) player those things will kick your ass in dmd again beat very hard and you will have a decent advantage in dmd trust mei wouldn't have gotten past mission 2 without super dante
yeah vergil is far more powerful making the harder modes seem like easy mode sticky situation hit em with a judgement cut and they gone...taking too much damage pft...dt as vergil you take practically NO damage in a nutshell Vergil is op no matter which costume and super sparda is best dante skin

People who can't play mission 19 on very hard mode, I couldn't either but here's a way. if u load a game go to your mission select, go to easy and play,but don't buy orbs or anything,collect orbs to buy large green stars not gold orbs, (they do the same thing) I bought at least 8 to defeat that sack of shit arkham
yes yes..... but.. its still fun and plus its not like the ps2 has achievements. so even if u do, do it on ur own the long way no one will ever know if ur tellin the truth or not. but dont get me wrong i have played dmc all the way through with out the cheat

damn! I didn't know I had sparda unlocked until I saw this video. When I saw the unlock conditions I thought, "that can't be right". I don't know how my mind confused dante's gameplay for vergil and I just assumed I was looking at corrupt vergil
To be honest, I'm not that good at DMC, there are several others who I don't even know who are better. As for DmC, I really don't have one, my advice is to play it for yourself and see what you think of it and don't attention to critics, since they have a nack for taking things out of context and mindlessly bash anything that isn't mainstream.
