I’ll be honest, I honestly like how Henry Cavill portrayed Superman in Josstice League more then I did in Snyder’s version. Like don’t get me wrong the Snyder cut is a better film overall but something about how Cavill does Superman in the Whedon version just feels more right to me

I understand this film doesn't hold up, but you have to remember when this came out in 1996 the effects were pretty groundbreaking. CGI was a new technology and they did the best they could.

Batman is known for 2 thing his physical peak human condition 127 martial arts style and smarts worlds greatest detective and he is none of those 2 things in the DCEU.Hopefully Robert Pattinson will give Batman some serious justice.

Okay. I found that the movie was WAY too long. The 4 hrs mostly were due to Snyder's reliance on slow motion and over explaining things that I felt didn't need explaining. I felt everyone just agreeing to bring Superman back instead of analyzing the good/bad ethics of such a resurrection was poorly handled in the Snyder Cut. I felt most of the characters, except for cyborg and maybe flash, were simplified or almost nonexistent. Wonder Woman in the original cut struggled with being a leader while also dealing with guilt over Steve's death. The most I hear about her character in the new version is her theme music. And there are so strange weird moments that just take me out of the film, like those women singing and sniffing aquaman's sweater after he leaves, or spending several seconds watching flash grab a hot dog and stroking iris's face in slow motion. I felt Steppenwolf and cyborg are clearly better in this version, the action was better, and the story does flow better, but 4 hours takes so much out of a viewer, where the 2 hour theatrical cut was underwhelming. They both have problems. I feel a compromise between the 2 versions would serve the film, and the team, better. But that's just me. I am glad people are enjoying this version, and Snyder made the film he wanted to honor his daughter.

They were overused as was some of the primal cry audio bits used during Wonder Woman sequences. However, I'd challenge myself to say this slows down some of the more fast paced "sensory overload" sequences and keeps the viewer attached and engaged to the sequence. - All the characters were secondary to the Flash and Cyborg stories, this movie really was more about them than anyone else. That's why they were so heavily emphasized. It was intentional as the other characters had all been further developed in other movies. -The cinematic cut didn't do Wonder Woman justice (PUN INTENDED). She's a dependent, clinging to someone she met a couple days a century ago. The dialogue doesn't make sense with her in so many cases, an example being when Bruce calls her out for hiding - even though the movie opens with her stopping those terrorists in the Whedon cut. That movie was so confusing from a studies perspective. The writing was seemingly SO rushed. -Chick didn't need to sniff Aquaman's shirt, agreed that was over the top. It was however, a massive upgrade of Bro Aquaman Man drinking to Icky Thump -Agreed on Steppenwolf and Cyborg. Disagree on Iris West, I think the gentleness of the hot-dog scene, was a realistic way of protecting her. If a man is moving SO fast that he cannot be seen moving from one point to another, then caressing her down softly is probably done not to crush her bones, break her neck, and concussively blow apart her organs. Plus, sometimes it's just cool to have a cute, funny scene in such a heavy movie. So long as the movie doesn't become dominated by a sense of levity like the cinematic cut had. This movie, like all movies including the likes of Citizen Kane, had it's problems, but it is a MAJOR upgrade on what we got in 2017. I had post concussion syndrome in 2017 and all I can remember was being left in a total state of confusion as to how things were clipped, how bad the CGI was, and how chalky the dialogue was lol.

The Snyder cut's steppenwolf is a far cry from this one. Hes actually threatening & a total badass. Also give the CGI animators a raise. How the suit moves is impressive.

I think the biggest thing is this version of the final battle has no weight or tension to it. They just go fight Steppenwolf and they win. The Snyder Cut’s final battle is tense. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, even after Superman comes back. Here I just feel nothing.
In the Snyder Cut the stakes are made plainly clear: if the boxes synchronize, everybody dies. Here, Batman casually talks about it like it's a broken coffee-maker.
Justice League was supposed to be the 3rd part of a 5 movie arc that Snyder had planned for Superman. It would've revolved around his transformation from the conflicted guy we saw in Man Of Steel into the Superman we all know and love

Besides, with the final battle happening in an abandoned location, it would make things a lot easier for the League's fight against the enemy. They're basically free to cause destruction in the city without having to worry about civilian lives or repercussions surrounding the collateral damage, since that's been a big issue in a lot of superhero movies post-battle.

It captures the personalities of the original characters way better, it is an actual superhero movie, it has colour and spirit to it, it does a *way* better job at depicting Superman. They can’t even keep the color of his armor consistent. One scene it’s black, one it’s dark grey, one it’s light grey. In some shots it’s the suit from the Snyder Cut, other times it looks like armor hap-hazardly arranged. That’s inexcusably awful fillmaking on Whedon’s part.

-The cinematic cut didn't do Wonder Woman justice (PUN INTENDED). She's a dependent, clinging to someone she met a couple days a century ago. The dialogue doesn't make sense with her in so many cases, an example being when Bruce calls her out for hiding - even though the movie opens with her stopping those terrorists in the Whedon cut. That movie was so confusing from a studies perspective. The writing was seemingly SO rushed.
-Chick didn't need to sniff Aquaman's shirt, agreed that was over the top. It was however, a massive upgrade of Bro Aquaman Man drinking to Icky Thump
-Agreed on Steppenwolf and Cyborg. Disagree on Iris West, I think the gentleness of the hot-dog scene, was a realistic way of protecting her. If a man is moving SO fast that he cannot be seen moving from one point to another, then caressing her down softly is probably done not to crush her bones, break her neck, and concussively blow apart her organs. Plus, sometimes it's just cool to have a cute, funny scene in such a heavy movie. So long as the movie doesn't become dominated by a sense of levity like the cinematic cut had.
This movie, like all movies including the likes of Citizen Kane, had it's problems, but it is a MAJOR upgrade on what we got in 2017. I had post concussion syndrome in 2017 and all I can remember was being left in a total state of confusion as to how things were clipped, how bad the CGI was, and how chalky the dialogue was lol.

I think the biggest thing is this version of the final battle has no weight or tension to it. They just go fight Steppenwolf and they win. The Snyder Cut’s final battle is tense. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, even after Superman comes back. Here I just feel nothing.
In the Snyder Cut the stakes are made plainly clear: if the boxes synchronize, everybody dies. Here, Batman casually talks about it like it's a broken coffee-maker.

Besides, with the final battle happening in an abandoned location, it would make things a lot easier for the League's fight against the enemy. They're basically free to cause destruction in the city without having to worry about civilian lives or repercussions surrounding the collateral damage, since that's been a big issue in a lot of superhero movies post-battle.

It captures the personalities of the original characters way better, it is an actual superhero movie, it has colour and spirit to it, it does a *way* better job at depicting Superman. Snyder's version is just another dime-a-dozen edgy fanfic version that the fandom has seen millions of times before because we can't have joy and the superheroes have to be dark and broody or they're not cool. Like, I genuinly feel a small ping of nostalgia back to the old JLA cartoons when I see Diana and Arthur teaming up and helping each other.
How a guy who openly despises superheroes managed to be put on multiple superhero project will forever baffle me. And what we got might have been a good movie... had it not been a Justice League movie or a DC Superheroes movie. Then again, he made Army of the Dead and that was a genuinly shit movie so maybe I'm giving him too much credit.
