Z Scale Shay On Test Track

This is a brass z scale Shay locomotive. The main body was designed by Walter Smith. The chassis and motor mount were designed by me. The brass parts were 3D printed at Shapeways. This little loco did not like the super sharp turns of my micro test track. Since my switching layout does not allow for continuous running, I pulled a framed picture off the wall and set up a test track on the back of it.
