His shuttle awaits, and with no fanfare, he'll embark to an unknown world on the furthest reaches of the outer rim, his vast adventures mostly forgotten, but raging and alive in the dark corners of his fading memory...
I'm obsessed with futuristic and cyber-punk theme, my deepest wish is I get to live long enough to be this man in the picture, looking out the window on a rainy day to a sprawling city skyline, buildings and holographic billboards as far as the eye can see, listening to some ambient chill mix.
There's always sonic depth to your work, but I'm really liking this new aspect that focuses on the emotional depth. Brings new perspectives to the simple task of creating "nice tunes to relax to" and makes it a fundamental element. And, I hate to say it, but I'm thinking "I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe..."
This reminds me of a dream I saw a couple of years ago. In it, I was visiting my Nordic hometown as an old guy some decades from now. A late wintery night, I was looking across the town's central marketplace, devoid of people, but on the opposite side of the plaza there were two automated street cleaning machines going about their business floating a foot or two above the ground (the only clue that it was a technological future). The dream had a very similar feel to this music/image.
I rarely leave comments as most people have said what I would've said, but this imagery with this music truly sets a vibe that many of us will one day look back on in 2053 when buildings grow taller and autonomous vehicles fill the sky. It'll be a chilly reminder in several years as the world of the future slowly becomes the world of today. 11 out of 10 with this track, SpaceWave!!! If I ever create a TV show or movie, I'd love to hire you for creating this sort of ambiance in the series!

This is nice. I suppose I should say a bit more than that since I'm using this soundscape as a way to anchor me in a place that exists only in my imagination. It's easier to "see" the characters and buildings, to hear them, to feel what's happening in their minds, to smell the street, to feel air on my cheeks, to feel... life, all around. These sounds and visualisations makes that all so much more vivid. Sometimes I write about this world but atm I'd doing illustrations for it... and this video is very helpful for conjuring. Thanks. ❤
What a wonderful, pensive mood you've set. One moment in time reflecting on a lifetime spent in service . . . wondering if it was worth it . . . whether your work made any difference in the grand scheme of it all . . . and wondering what you will do now at this late stage in your life, realizing that you have no family left, no true friends and no other skills than those you developed over your long career.
That is me pretty much now. Gazing out of my car on a rainy day in Sacramento, looking at all the tall building with big bank and hot signs, hazy fog and low rolling clouds separating the buildings from the sky....all the meanwhile alone, no family, no gf, just a job and some video games and spacewave music to get me through these strange times. 😆
Here in Helena MT. I got some bad news about my health this week. No job, just my little house and three cats. Out of my window in the living room, I see the church parking lot next door. Piles of snow are still around, but dry asphalt and dead grass elsewhere. Sky is overcast white. The hills and mountains have the scent of snow in the air. The clouds are reaching down in the distance. Dusting the landscape with snow.
Let me tell you this my situation is the opposite compared to yours, i live in a small country somewhere in Europe in a small municipality where everything is green and lush and maintained, a lot of farm land with cows and sheeps and solar panels, artificial beaches.. And all local amenities for all the conveniences. Despite all of these amazing things, i also stil feel alone and out of place most of the time.
Being an old man in a damaged world where only a miracle can change things around. And ready to die as soon you can. But overal, there are indeed places in this world where the whole Cyberpunk aesthetic is a thing, but at the same time there are also beautiful natural places. The world is a blend of many outcomes of scenarios i guess. Solarpunk, Cottagecore, Cyberpunk, Lunarpunk.
This is a masterpiece and easily my favorite of your work. I use it to relax, to write, to meditate, to "knock on the sky" and listen to what it says. Thank you so much for your time and effort. It IS appreciated!

This is your best one yet. First of all: This animated picture almost feels like a scene from a movie. Each viewer can imagine a different story behind it, making it unique in each person's mind. Second: This music is slightly different from your previous cyberpunk sounds. The former were too closely resembling blade runner, in a way that was almost restricting. Here, you have allowed yourself to break free from such restrictions, while still maintaining the futuristic inspiration. Well done mate!

I work in an Elderly home... Seen much... Maby too much... And this reflects it all. That at the end, you are not only no longer neccessary, but simply... DELETED. With all your fears, doubts, regrets, with nothing to live for and ALONE in the void that is constant. I am not saying that the music is not overwhelming, but the harsh reality that awaits all, that havent lived their lives in fulfillment and joy. Because at the end... YOU ONLY REMEMBER THE... He had loved and lost, and that, he knew, was the most human thing of all. “Time to die.” He whispered, recalling Battys final words. This wasn’t execution. This was his retirement.
That film can teach people about identity. In other words, who they are. Deckard was also the true villain in the film. He even r@ped Rachel in the film during the so-called love scene.
Why is this old man standing on an open balcony (you can see the raindrops pouring in) and gazing out into the uncaring city (and breathing so hard) with such a sad face? 😢 Makes me wonder what I will do when I get to this place...
I think having the person or replicant (what’s the difference)? in the shot slightly ruins the immersion. I just can’t relax. I think it’s technically great though. But would love one without someone in the foreground. Is it possible to upload a version without the character? I don’t mean to come across as rude and I suppose… thinking about it now, it does seem incredibly rude to ask an artist to change or alter their work. But… I genuinely love the background work and the music and would love it to be more of a POV where I’m putting myself in the shoes of the character shown on screen.
It's not rude to give feedback, it's just uncomfortable hearing critique. I agree, mainly because the last relaxing thing is to be in the presence of other people. When I see other people, there's a lack of freeness - a self-consciousness and tendency to put the mask back on. It looks very bladerunner-y, but not everyone who enjoys this music is a blade runner fan. I'm a huge fan of this genre of music and the cyberpunk genre of movie, but try as I might I can't get into the original or the sequel. Great upload otherwise 😄
@@Ginkgobonobo Yes I absolutely agree. I always get nervous giving feedback as the last thing I want to do is make the artist feel bad or unappreciated. I think you hit the nail on the head. It’s hard for me to relax around other people, and having someone in the shot makes me feel uncomfortable. Oh you couldn’t get into the Blade Runner films? That is interesting! They are two of my favourite films of all time, but I understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

@@77jamess I understand, it's very uncomfortable giving feedback like that. A similar composer to SpaceWave had a triangle in the thumbnails of a couple of videos and I let him know that he probably shouldn't do that, what with all the triangles that SpaceWave uses. The back-and-forth was.....awkward, but I think he's staying off the triangles now. I think it's just my problem as far as Blade Runner goes, according to everyone but me it's an amazing film. I sit and watch and I get the storyline, but I'm always left with a "I don't get it" feeling.
@@Ginkgobonobo I had a similar experience to giving feedback to a person using triangles in their videos, like SpaceWave. It turns out though, it was just some guy stealing work and re-uploading it! Reported and after some time, they had the account terminated.
The 2.0 of this video needs to be the same setting however the man is gone and the window is open. Did he jump to escape the madness or snap out his trance and open the window to let in fresh air while baking cookies made with love?

But… I genuinely love the background work and the music and would love it to be more of a POV where I’m putting myself in the shoes of the character shown on screen.
It's not rude to give feedback, it's just uncomfortable hearing critique. I agree, mainly because the last relaxing thing is to be in the presence of other people. When I see other people, there's a lack of freeness - a self-consciousness and tendency to put the mask back on.
It looks very bladerunner-y, but not everyone who enjoys this music is a blade runner fan. I'm a huge fan of this genre of music and the cyberpunk genre of movie, but try as I might I can't get into the original or the sequel.

@@Ginkgobonobo Yes I absolutely agree. I always get nervous giving feedback as the last thing I want to do is make the artist feel bad or unappreciated. I think you hit the nail on the head. It’s hard for me to relax around other people, and having someone in the shot makes me feel uncomfortable.
Oh you couldn’t get into the Blade Runner films? That is interesting! They are two of my favourite films of all time, but I understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
You got some valid points mate. I'm not offended at all. I encourage people to give feedback, since that is one way to continue progressing. On the other hand, I don't always agree with the feedback, but I surey doo respect it. Cudos for feedbacking :)

I understand, it's very uncomfortable giving feedback like that. A similar composer to SpaceWave had a triangle in the thumbnails of a couple of videos and I let him know that he probably shouldn't do that, what with all the triangles that SpaceWave uses. The back-and-forth was.....awkward, but I think he's staying off the triangles now.
I think it's just my problem as far as Blade Runner goes, according to everyone but me it's an amazing film. I sit and watch and I get the storyline, but I'm always left with a "I don't get it" feeling.
@@Ginkgobonobo I had a similar experience to giving feedback to a person using triangles in their videos, like SpaceWave. It turns out though, it was just some guy stealing work and re-uploading it! Reported and after some time, they had the account terminated.
To me, these 3 last vids illustrate the bladerunner at 3 differents ages : 30 , 50 and here, 70. Don't know if true but thats my interpretation :)
