Really love this one. You get the rainfall effect and ambience all spot-on. That downpour that is constant and misty the higher you ascend the busy metropolis, but is not heavy and so calming. It's really calming in many real-life rainy cities, but you make it even more cinematic here and other videos you've created. Honestly, you offer so much peace in all the chaos with your work. Another chill tune I'm using for work and sleep :D And here's a (very short) story clip: "This is Amber-1365. Site is clear for landing.", said a voice in the radio network. It's our turn, now. "This is Helios-1. Acknowledged. Approaching landing zone.", I said in response, as I drive this aircraft for vertical landing. Neotopia. A serene town on the more secluded area of the planet IA-1052. Within the jurisdiction of Alliance, it was built as a micro-city to sustain a civilization. Famous for its brutalist, modern approach to the art of tea brewing, consumption, and production, it has multiple VIPs coming and going, just to have one good sip of their tea. This drink, dubbed "Serene Sands", is supposedly "able to calm the fractured senses of the self, no matter how whole you may be". Today's a very special day for my Boss, Evelyn Salavato, as she will have her taste of this exquisite beverage. As the aircraft descend into the designated pads, a hushed voice asked for my attention. "Do you think it will work for me, Janus?", said my Boss. "I think so, Boss. Mr. Carell vouched for its effectiveness, with claims that 'he can now see the setting suns with hope and acceptance'. If you're going to proceed to 'become two', then this ceremony is a must, I'm afraid.", I sighed. She always knows that I disagree with her direction to effectively "make herself into two wholes". But the allure of this so-called "Serene Sands" intrigued me, not gonna lie. "Well, at least it will be an experience to remember, either by me, or by my 'other', woudn't you say?", Ms. Evelyn chuckled. "Helios-1 to Amber-1365. We have landed. Awaiting red carpet.", I voiced over the radio. After some time, the Divine Crane has sent out their welcoming party. Being one of the more luxurious tea establishments in the area, the Divine Crane boasts that their blend of "Serene Sands" will "give you the acceptance of the existence of two suns". Wild claims, mind you. We were then escorted to the top floor, where the exquisite tea can be enjoyed with a spectacular view of rainy-and-a-bit-stormy Neotopia. Before us is a table embellished with gold accents. Placed on it is a square teapot, and two cups. An attendant then poured us two cups of tea. The name given to this drink - "Serene Sands" - is an understatement. The liquid looks like emerald jade in color, shining like glass, refracting it into a myriad of colors and reflecting it like a solid prism. I'm not even sure if it's a holographic upgrade, or we're being served actual glass shards. It's that uncanny. "What a lovely view. Gives me the peace I need to savor this drink.", Boss said as she picked up a cup. "Janus, come join me in taking this drink." "You know my answer to that, Boss.", I said. "To be honest, you really need to live your life from time to time.", she muttered, then faced the attendant to ask, "Miss, is this drink not allowed for pilots?" "Ma'am, we are not exactly sure how to put this... but this is only reserved for you. I thought you have brought your quantic frame?", but Boss motioned for her to shut up. "He is my quantic frame. It's just that he's sentient". "Ma'am, we do not wish to break any laws here. Why bring a sentient being here for your ceremony?" "I'm too old to experience life, while he's too poor to do so. So, I'm giving him the last of my days to enjoy my money as he pleases." "No, Boss! I want to serve you more with this body!", I exclaimed. But boss raised her hand in this weird figure. "Now, now. Let your mind be opened wide and far. No need to think about all of this." All of a sudden, I saw myself sitting down, holding the tea of acceptance. Of a new life, one so close to death. "And now, we 'become two'.", the Boss gestures for us to drink this poisoned cup of fantasies. We took a gulp. I should be mad, but why am I so... calm? Like a wave of stillness washed over me, calming every sense I have. Or should I say "had"? The next moment I blink, I will be Evelyn Salavato. Boss will now be me, Janus. I feel so... excited? Why? I want to live more, not die soon... But, maybe I can live a bit more with all her wealth, no? All I can feel now, is pure serenity. I can now see the "second sun". It's right here, within my heart. I'm ready to blink now.
