When the rest of Jarl's card are spoiled, we are going to hit the ground hard with testing. I will start developing sideboard guides and matchups then 🙂
I don't think Jarl will have another weapon. It would feel weird to have a second disposable weapon to dual wield with Summit. Doesn't feel very Jarl to have something easily disposable. However, I'll pitch my tin foil hat theory. The gauntlets don't seem to have the same chilling aura as the hero card for Jarl. What if there was an "Off-Hand Aura" equipment taking the other weapon slot? It could be a block X Blade Break with "Action-Destroy This" or "If it Defends" effect. It would also pair well with his Legs to block with an Aura. Thematically, it would feel more "Jarl" being this juggernaut of a man swinging a 2-handed weapon with one hand while the other hand is emitting this chilling aura to hinder or block you out. And once he's done stopping you, he chokes up his Summit with both hands and reigns down mercilessly on his enemy.
I have been on Tunic for pummel synergy. Coronet Peak seemed weak at first but using it as a good way to have a one card seems strong. I imagine my final list will include one or both of these cards.
Jarl won't be playing pummel I guess since the weapon doesn't incentivise it. Enigma is gonna go stonks this season! It's the only hero being able to stand in the way LOL! How you gonna get through all those wards?
@@POmnias Genuine question. You don't think being able to block 4 (over rate) and tutor up a card from your deck with an ability that fuels your hero power is power creep?
@@AggroBlaze96The power creep makes up for being unable to use as an attack or non attack. Pitching this for the weapon attack is meh at best. If anything, I think LSS is trying to really incentivize the usage of block cards by streamlining block purposed cards at the cost of versatility.
I don't get it. Hero ability will be mostly blank, weapon and equipment are terrible. Arms are junk, crush effects belong to the past and can be easily covered
You are the first person, I have talked to, that has this take so far. I honestly believe almost everything about your take is incorrect. Jarl gets value with disruption through ice as the game progresses. The arms are a great filter to help you keep CLF or other auras around and have a very powerful effect. Crush effects are somewhat easily covered, I agree there. Crush effects don't have to crush every time for Guardian to get value. The more your opponent blocks to stop a crush effect, the better your next turn cycle as a guardian will be. Getting cards out of your opponents hand is the key with guardian and crush effects help us do that.
@@AggroBlaze96 I don't see much ice generation though , it requires too much set up and without crown of seeds, I don't see it. Think about Iyslader. The coronet peak +1 blue +1 frostbite +waning moon for 3 strategy seemed OP but it was never competitive
@@themisvoul1045 A lot of the ice cards will come from previous sets. There are some ice cards in his deck but we will be playing cards like Polar Blast, CLF, Winter's Bite, etc. That is where the ice value will come from.
(Cries in Mechanoid)
I was bummed I couldn't run Root Bound Trunks in Florian, but I am looking forward to seeing what an aura based Terra could look like!
An aura based Terra sounds like a blast tbh! Would love to see a list 🙂
The legs fill up the yard for decompose if you go that route, too.
Yes! Big help with Felling and Plow Under!
Is this two separate Jarl videos before the hero is even out?!?!? Bro is REALLY excited
You know I hate speculation but I can't help it....JARL BABY!
Do you have a CC upgrade video from the Armory Deck? That would be amazing!
Since the full deck hasn't been released, I do not have one yet. Coming soon!
hey aggro, can you share some sideboard guide to the decks?? im a bit lost with the hero
thank you in advance

and if the other weapon is called a mangle so it can be targeted by the glove
That would be a dream come true!
I think the gauntlets are 2 resources because then you can do tech plating at the end of the turn
It would be a sweet turn to activate Tectonic Plating, activate Gauntlets, and finish the turn with a Mangle for 10 dominate.
On the gauntlets, you can pitch red before the blue. And get both effects.
If we get to keep that many cards, this is a great line!
It’s always possible. Just another option.
Stalagmite stonks to the moooooooon
Stalagmite from $30 to $100 💰
so on cm it hit around up to 100 bugs xo what about tcg player?
@@Cardboardgrinch It's sitting between $85-$90 on TCG.
@@AggroBlaze96 thas kinda reasonable i guess.
Soo cool to see it again... its been a while x3
Calling now that the hammer has a Talishar-like ability.
Loves some Jarl!!
Tectonic crust is good for players because it lets people get a good effect on a budget not everyone spending heavy money n the game
HE HAS THE HAMMER IN THE PULVERIZE & RIGHTEOUS CLEANSENING ARTWORKS
THIS IS THE HYPE EVELS I'M LOOKING FOR!!

I actually really like your theory, this would be awesome!
Ice cap is really good into aggro. I imagine it could brick a turn
It could be used as another Stalagmite trigger, maybe I am sleeping no it too hard.
Why is neither deck in description using Coronet Peak or Tectonic Plating??

You run Crust or barkskin for the decompose Synergy
Barkskin would be solid in the earth version!

Illusionist does present a challenge, I have no doubt we will destroy that bridge when we get to it 😎
I see your point on the second weapon idea, but this is an armory deck. I doubt they would give two weapons to a starter deck.
That's fair, I see where you are coming from. Expansion slot legendary weapon for Jarl in the Hunted? 👀👀
@@AggroBlaze96 I believe your scenario is more relevant to an expansion slot rather than two weapon armory deck
@@DyscreteGaming I'm here for it either way 🙂
This is also $60 armory deck. Could have extra goodies.
I don’t understand why we’re getting so much power creep lately
More like JARL Creep 😂😂 I don't understand it either tbh, but LSS hasn't let me down yet.
With Guardian, it is warranted, imho, because the class is in trouble right now. But it is power creep to counter previous power creep :)
there is zero power creep in jarl's new cards

I'm sure hypothermia will be played... if it doesn't get banned monday
I really hope they don't ban Hypo. Playing it out during your turn still allows your opp to plan around it.
