I'm interested in your upcoming video about 8000Hz, I just ordered a new mouse and it has 8K polling and I was interested in using it to test games, engines, and frameworks for bugs and issues with 2K, 4K, 6K, and 8K Hz. I was hoping that since the Razer Viper 8K had been out for a long time and a lot of mice have it now that games and engines would be patched to better support it, or at least bugs would be fixed. The mouse will be here on the 21st, so excited to get to testing using MouseTester and Aim Labs. I've been using the Glorious Model O for so long, and even though I loved it, it was time for an upgrade. I'm upgrading to an Endgame Gear OP1 8K Purple Frost limited edition for reference. 😄💜
@@RocketJumpNinja btw, thanks for your work! Your review of G Pro Superlight convinced me to get a used one, when I found a sweet deal. ❤️ After replacing damaged mouse feet with CorePad ones, I'm so satisfied. Recently side buttons started multi-clicking. Because of these, and easy feet fix, I'd like to ask you kindly to add maintenance in your reviews, if you find it suitable. How easy it is to make it dirty, especially wheel and side buttons, and how easy it is to clean and how? Are materials likely to be worn out, like sides of G403? Is a mouse easy to disassemble (glue, screws under feet)? What can break, are there replaceable parts and feet available? And if people report poor long-term reliability, could you add it to your mouse list, if you don't do it already?
Yeah wait for the specials! I wonder why the price is so high. I pretty much never look at price because I'm just looking for the best mice... but think I'll have to start as prices hit this level.
Fnatic x Lamzu is insane value by comparison, the only thing you're missing out on is the bag (which is honestly nice). this'd be solid at around 180-200 (as that's the lowest I figure ASUS would go). But as always, what you're paying for with ROG is the "experience" and, occasionally, top-notch engineering. @@RocketJumpNinja
Im in the market right now trying to upgrade to a newer mouse from and MM711 (having issues double clicking) and would like little bigger mouse) best mouse i ever had was a Zowie fk1
It's around 280€ in here. I can pay 160-180€ for a GOOD quality multi-purpose mouse (MMO/Moba/multi-genre) that feels and looks premium, and has functionality to it. FPS mouse at this range, no matter the additions, is an automatic no-go for me. I admire ASUS pushing the innovation and technicalities, though.
My old ears can't hear that apparently... I'm testing streaming from camera and recording straight into OBS using a dynamic mic, hoping for better sound quality and not picking up anything in the distance. I'll put a filter on it next time. Thanks for letting me know!
Oh wow, I have to slow the audio down to 94% speed (which also lowers the pitch in this software) before I can hear that. Apparently as we get older, we lose the ability to hear those higher frequencies... so I just wasn't aware it was even there. Interestingly it's only around the time I start clicking (I can see it in the waveform too). Not sure what it is but yeah I'll filter it out next time. Thanks again!
Hey, you know I designed a mouse right? So the answer should be obvious. MZ1 favourite so far! My new designs... we'll see how they go some day. I need to test them in game before knowing if they're actually good or not. And yes, I mained the G302 for a long while, it's what I started this channel with.
I think Asus is kinda late, they always put their prices high but until this mouse their products were mostly average, I hope they can keep the consistency
Definitely looks cool. By the way Zy, did you get your Logitech issue fixed (The one where it changes to 800 DPI when turning on)? I posted a fix in case you didn't see it.
Any mouse recommendations for sweaty hands gamers? Unfortunately I have hyper hidrosis and grip is my main issue when playing shooters, most plastic materials become slippery as hell when moist and while I love my EC2B Zowie shape and precision id love a change for quality of life purposes
@@bdixhshsi1888 oh wow thank you! That was a very interesting suggestion, I had no idea this existed. Arent there any mouses with such materials by default?
Are you going to review the WLMouse Beast X mini, medium and max? They are *very* similar to the Finalmouse mice, but they have some subtle differences
4:26 You know, I respect that. I wish people in matchmaking in the games I play knew how to fight defensively instead of offensively. Waiting for a peek; chef's kiss. Falling back! Chef's kiss. Hearing you're the last standing and immediately falling back? Never seen that in my matches unless I do it
I don't know man. Price is a deal breaker for a gaming mouse. With a lot of competitive mice that are indistinguishable with each other, I would not put this mouse higher when it costs twice as much. We need to fight with our wallets
this version that was also present on the original harpe ace is pretty good, i just wish the rest of the peripherals got the same treatment and not the bloated version
Certainly a good mouse, but it's not even that light considering the technology used in production. Asus software is just garbage anyway, I don't really see the appeal in this product, it's weight is average in the current market, it's technologically on Paar with all other high end mice. But for 250$ is just outrageous.
Another one of the hundreds of G Pro clone. Man, mice are horrible these days, everything is a clone of about 3-4 popular fps mice. You can just buy the cheapest one with the good sensor. For MMO/RTS there's 2 mice that everyone buys. For MOBAs, moba/fps hybrid mice or general use all you get is pure trash. The G502X is your only option, because it is the least bad. It's popular, but I rarely hear anyone say they love it, they just tolerate it, because there's nothing else.
Asus is certainly becoming the king of "really high quality but way too expensive" peripherals
Ok just realized I could change location on Amazon to see price... yeah wow, that is wild. Maybe wait for the specials for this one!
Also the king of RMA scams.
They are also the king of "terrible software to complement great hardware". There would be so much work to be done in that area ...
@@dynastes4938so funny cause it's so incredibly true 😂
That's a good price considering its carbonfiber, the good kind and not the fake kind.
ASUS has hit and misses but one thing stays consistent. Their insane prices
whats up? Zy is back to review? Hooray!
Trying to get the Top Mice list updated!

Great review. You should try the Harpe Ace mini. It might be a more comfortable fit for a medium hand size.
There is supposed to be a Mini version as well. Might be better for those of use who are getting used to smaller mice.
looking foward for your video about 1000hz! I use my mice at 4000hz because my pc has low specs and it lags at 8k lmao

Would be great to see more companies offer CF or magnesium options.
Heyo, just a heads up there's some high pitch ringing in the sound tests, noticed this in the last video as well

wtf is that high frequency noise during click test, is it just me?
Someone else mentioned it too, it's the mic or something, I'll check into it, sorry about that, unfortunately I can't hear it.
Cool material, nice shape (I used the original Harpe Ace for a while) - but yeah too expensive tbh
Hey Zy, what would you say your most favourite mouse shape of all time is? And did you ever enjoy the OG G303 shape?

More of this ❤️
Will you be testing some of these newer pen shaped mice people are making?
These seem to be very well aligned with your philosophy of shape.
Which ones?
@RocketJumpNinja As an example, I saw one being reviewed by the channel @Log_Pile.
It looked like an interesting fusion of a mouse and a pen.
Oh yeah saw that, does look cool, maybe some day!

love my lamzu maya, but the battery life is a headache sometimes, would love something around 50gs with superlight batterylif
Still waiting for Logitech to drop a "Superlight" G703. Still the best shape I've personally ever had with a mouse, but just too heavy.
