Empowering biker girls ride their Harley Davidson Sportsters as part of the FEARLESS project in support of Diabetes Canada. The girls rode their motorcycles as part of a photoshoot series to fundraise, do good, and all the while have a great time being who they are; Cool, fun-loving, and confident bikers living the motorcycle life.

You captured perfectly the reason why women don't rides bikes - because they are immediately sexualized. My sister was a biker in the mid seventies in the UK (Triumph 500). She stopped because of all the lewd sexist comments. She was either regarded as slut or lesbian. I don't suppose much has changed today.
If you seriously want to empower women just use ordinary women not models.
I'm sorry to hear about your sister's experience. Everyone who knows me in the moto community knows that I am all for women riders and empowerment for women. And all the women who participated in this project are ordinary women who are not models, and are actual motorcyclist. Thank you for your comment.
That was the 70s bro.. I know lots of women that ride there own bikes, and I love it..my lady rides her own street glide and she could give 2 fucks what people think and I love it.. wouldn't have it any other way.. having my lady ride next to me or seeing her in my rear veiw mirror while riding is the best feeling..
To me, a woman on a Harley is more perfect than perfection.
It’s beautiful to see ladies on bikes ANY bike but I’m partial to HD. 20 years ago I did whatever it took to convince my wife that she belonged on her on H-D and when She did it it changed our lives for the better. I hope more young women choose to ride. 🙏🙏

My lady rides her own street glide and I wouldn't have it any other way.. the fun we have riding is priceless
Women riders are great. Keep organizing good riding events throughout AMERICA 🇺🇸 and Canada 🇨🇦 too. I live in Baltimore, Maryland and follow are Harley Davidson Dealerships . As a member of Baltimore Metro Hog Chapter I support events by the men n women who ride. Members or not if they can organize a good event I ride.

i could tell a long story about my niece but i just wish she wasn't in her on words" scared of the 1963 panhead". i even shortened the front end and bought her a less power full bike to train on like i did starting out. what will happen to her fathers panhead when i am gone?
Unfortunately, some people (men or women) just aren't cut out to ride. I'm sure you'll find a right home for the Pan when the time comes.

Chick's should not ride bikes they can barely drive cars
I've met and seen women who ride better, faster and safer than men, particularly those men who drag their knees, so they say. They're not different from us men. Abilities begin in belief. Don't disservice women who can add up to this wonderful way of living.
I'm a lady biker that's been riding motorcycles for a solid 16 years now. And NOBODY tells me I shouldn't be riding my 800 Suzuki Intruder or driving my truck. Ever. If I've got the keys to start them license to drive them, then it's what I do. Guys that say; "chicks should not ride bikes" are typically those that want a bike and can't get one for whatever reason. Not my problem!

Well, I can 100% guarantee you that these girls are riders and in fact, the bikes are theirs.
Guys like you assume the same thing about me. One minute I'm minding my own business putting fuel in the tank of my 800 Suzuki Intruder, and then some guy is walking up behind me the next insisting that the bike I'm putting gas in belongs to my "boyfriend." Yet my boyfriend doesn't even ride, and wouldn't know the first thing about motorcycles.
I am sorry, but I still dont belive these women own those bikes. Some of them look over stretched on the bike. It cant be comfortable to ride a bike like that over time.
@@HKWahl72 I would say it's denial, and you simply just don't want to believe that they own the motorcycles they're riding because most guys just can't seem to handle it when a girl's got keys to a badass ride of her own for some reason. It's almost like it brings out some sort of sexual frustration for you guys. You all seem to wish 1, you had the bike, 2, you were the bike or 3, refuse to believe that the girl on the bike actually owns it too. Lol

@@pascalfo6014 Since when does riding a motorcycle suggest any woman is trying to "be like a man?" Lol Women have been riding motorcycles since day one of some of the first Harley-Davidsons and Indians. This was because anyone with working limbs and a functioning brain can operate a clutch to shift gears and balance on two wheels. Hell, I'm a lady biker that's been riding for a solid 16 years now. And I do all of that about as naturally as brushing my teeth and lacing my shoes at this point. Grew up on and around bikes my whole life and have owned three different ones already. I don't ride to "compete with men." I ride because bikes are something that I'm passionate about, and there's no greater feeling than being one with my machine and the open road. Guys that talk trash about girls with motorcycles, are usually those that want a bike of their own and can't get one for whatever reason. Well, not my problem! Lol
