I sure do miss the old Ultimate Driving Newark map! I wish I could of seen the old version in this video but sadly no. I was one of the og players that played Ultimate Driving Newark. I wish the map was still out on the actual game with the same textures and vehicles. Thank you for giving us a tour of the old classic maps. bless you
Yep, The ultimate driving universe would be popular if he overhauled it. Btw you can play the unfinshed overhaul on the testover i think it cost rbx or something
This may seem its better than all UD games since its combined but for a game that has been discontinued (Newark). Newark was my first UD game I played and then it made it so addicting to me because I love driving in highways. Rest in peace Newark.
Sadly, the UD staff decided it was ok to go after everyone WHO played the game and to get the game taken down so badly (even thought the owner broke the rules) since it had a big following. Along with anyone who participated in the effort.
But they made a copy of the game which was content deleted you can still play the game but you have to go in the content deleted game and just wait in the house until you finally Spond in a base plate and click the box with your computer and then you’ll join in the game and you can play it now
They were just a basic driving game for good roleplays, not the present version which is just an arcade driving game that looks like something from GTA online
This was my game... (was a little collaborative project between one of my buddies) It's now a closed down private access project, which sadly it has to be that way or else it just gets DMCA'd (taken down for copyright,) Next I plan on removing the Harriston Bay Bridge/Tunnels current lines and redoing them, this way I can clean up some connections. Sadly, there's not much I can really do in the Newark part of the map, as we just don't know how it's going to be, and I don't have an original copy of Newark from, lets say 2016/17. If I could manage to find one, then I'll add it. The game basically runs off a 2017 version of Westover that was taken from a developer accident, then we obtained seperate maps, without scripts, ui, systems, just the bare map, connected it all up by repeating it several times with each map. Then we pretty much patched the main routes as soon as we could. How did I get the official systems? Well, sometime in 2017, they accidentally published the game with it uncopylocked (basically you have full edit access to the game, scripts, map, everything, it's literally a studio backup file) Then I just went in, patched some scripts, tweaked a few values (making cars free, etc.) There was a pretty big problem with duplicated parts, half of the lines you see in the map are meshes, so where you would see lines going off the road in Woodbury, that's actually for HBBT, you just didn't notice until then because it was lined up perfectly. I could probably just open the mesh in blender and just manually delete the unnecessary sections of the lines. There's still a ton of work that would need to be done anyway, but really with Newark and the misalignments, and the copy of HBBT messing with the rest of the map. It's possible to fix and polish these maps to their original style, I redid the US 40 connection between Newark and Bordenville. Another person finished the MD-896 connection by Red Mills to Newark. Unfortunately, this project will probably never be published to the public, as UD mods could just log in, report it to Roblox, then I get my account terminated. There was a little spinoff of this project where we tried building Harriston and the rest of the plotted 2015 UD map Bullruster made. I'll probably eventually set up a permanent Discord server for the UD Megamap project, it would have to be heavily filtered out though, really gotta be safe with it. There's literally just a list of names I wrote down and the gave them play access. I would probably just run and do the same thing with a Google Forum or something. Anyways, if you REALLY want to play this again, just drop your user and I'll give you private access.

I played this game yesterday, it took me a few times to get in here bc I realized I needed to set my graphics to the lowest possible. And it’s so fun.

I like the old maps a lot better then the new ones just not a fan of the new terrain but it’s fun to off-road sometimes
