Hi dear Angela,Yes Fresh chilled white wine is very relaxing and refreshing. thank you for your awesome continued support You Rock. Have a nice evening.
Can you give some information about the equipments that you have used sp the grape press it is so convenient.. And the wine tasting tube that you used to check the taste in the end of video.
How old is the grapevine before it give this much fruits? My grapevines always get powder mildew on them. Any recommendation? Btw, great video. Thanks for sharing.
This vine began producing large volume in the third year and to get rid of mildew rake the area well at the end of the season to remove diseased plant debris. in spring to bury infected leaves or grapes. Then treat the vine with a Natural Copper Fungicide available at a store like lowes or The Home depot or online. Hope this helps
Can someone please tell me what type of grape those green grapes are in the opening scene? I have some that are ripe right now. Going to start my first batch tomorrow.
Hi Marguerite Champagne thank you for asking yes a number of video recipes are on the way. Since wine making season starts in March and goes through September I let the White Wine video stay front and center. Have a nice day~Mai
You mean you yourself right? There are many different ways/recipes for fermenting. I personally do it like her as well. Leave one week and strain and it is delicious!!! Stop being negative and learn something!
You'll have wine even if you simply leave a few grapes in a bowl and do nothing at all (as grape skins have wild yeasts in them). I am talking about the professional way premium white wine is made in commercial wineries. Fermentation is never done with the skins on as oxidation will impart a brown color. Did you notice how her wine was brown tinted though she signs off by showing us a clear white wine at the end! She's got all the steps confused. Only red wine is made by fermenting with skins on so the red skin tannins find their way into the wine. Even then, its done only until about 70% fermentation is completed after which the juice is pressed out with a press and fermentation continued till dry. However, for white wine the proper way is to leave it on skins for about 24 hours with added sulfites, then press out the clear juice, wait another day to settle, rack the clear juice of the settled lees and then only add the yeast. Please watch the video links below on how professionals do it. th-cam.com/video/bPw-pTGzao0/w-d-xo.html www.thebeveragepeople.com/how-to/wine/white-winemaking.html

Hi Liana, not to worry dear more videos and recipes coming soon. Thank you so much for checking in. Have a nice evening~Mai
Don't get me wrong, but you don't first ferment with grape and pulp when making white wine (only with the extracted juice).
