@@imagineeverything no, they not yet. Still not after all this years metahuman are out. Its a little shame i think because they select so hard but with no reason in my eyes. iphone for facelink and no mac support for the plugin...Lol...
@@Bakahira Yeah I find this insane. I would have been dead in the water if I got the mac. I use these things on a daily basis:) Cheers for that man. You saved me:)
@@imagineeverything glad, that it is helpfull. Just hope they will change that soon... and if you find a solution to transfer the mesh without the plugin....let me know! Haha😅
When importing your final Metahuman Creation into Unreal from Quixel Bridge, do you select the SK_MHI_Character Skeleton or None? Well, I have just learned you cannot add none.
I expected Daz Studio to improve like Character Creator, allowing one-click rigging and easy character import to Unreal Engine, similar to Meta. It's disappointing that it hasn't...Daz remains unchanged, with no improvements at all.
Couldn't agree with you more. Zbrush gets away with a bad UX because its a beast. Daz Still had one of the most horrible UX designs available. I wish they would redo it from the ground up. But this is just a dream, for now Im sure. One day mate hopefully. Thanks for the message:)
Your welcome mate:) glad it helped. Yes you can. You need to make the Daz character and pose it on the timeline, Export its animations then re-target in Unreal to the Metahuman. Here is how you do the Daz character (timestamped) th-cam.com/video/lpbUpkYdcO4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IsHQMXXva2v0zcGY&t=1323 and here is how you re-target animations. th-cam.com/video/asK0ix0LTlc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nQMK42nAo0OAMZa0 But in this case choose your metahuman skeleton. hope this helps:)
@@imagineeverything its not working, the gen9 skeleton is very different from MH skeleton and during the retarget nothing happens, just log errors explaining that the skeletons dont match
Ai Arri needs to sit in the corner and think about what he has done. Actually I have a tutorial for that. How to bind MH with Daz clothing right here:) th-cam.com/video/rQMosCMpWmQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jvta_Wt-LSieCM1f Have a good day mate:)
Not yet. Well not an easy way anyway. First option is choose a body MH proved there like 6 of them. Other way is to export your MH body out of unreal and sculpt it using blender or Zbrush the way you want and bring it back into unreal and add it to your MH using something like Mesh Morpher. But mesh morpher is expensive. hope this helps
Thanks for going over this and refreshing those who forgot how to do it. Have a great weekend 🍻
Hope your well mate:) I hope you have a great weekend my friend:)
I just hope, that mesh to metahuman are soon available on Mac OS or somebody find a work around. Anyway a great tutorial🤗 thanks

Thankyou for making this tutorial, it really helps, Can we transfer Daz G8 and G9 poses on Metahuman in Unreal Engine 5.4?

Do you know how to put high quality skin on any daz avatar and can be translated to unreal engine?
Metahuman or actual daz character imported into unreal?
