Gino, This isn't Italy (I wish !!) ! If you go to a supermarket in the UK and ask for some fresh yeast at the bakery section, they will look at you like 🤔 "whaaazat then?" 🤣

I've seen digestive biscuits with more aeration😊. 48 hours to prove the dough for that 😢 but for quick fun pizzas with the kids it's a nice quick and easy recipe

I thought the sugar was to feed the yeast, or to activate it.
Sugar isn't necessary to activate yeast, but it helps turbo the blooming process. He's including it here because it helps brown the dough in the oven.

Fresh yeast yes, active dry yeast 1g max. Depends how long you want to ferment and the room temp.

I lived in Ireland from age 12 to 31 and I didn't pick up an Irish accent, it's called being true to yourself.

My dad was born in Glasgow and lived there for 11 years. He lived in America for 15 then has lived in the UK for 45 years. He still has a glaswegian accent
And kept his accent. It would be a boring old world if everybody had an English accent.
