I use the motormate, almost the same. And I love my hydraulic steering. Get it if you can. Kentucky

The transom saver is needed to protect transom but boat needs to be staped to trailer
It is strapped to the trailer
What going to help Support transom
Idk ask all the big bass boat companies 🤷
Will support motor but not stop transom damaged caused by motor bouncing on the road.
Most boats do not come with transom saver type devices anymore
