Yes, you can absolutely transfer your domain to any registrar. Find the registrar you want to transfer to and initiate it on their side. They will ask for an authorization code which you will get from Wealthy Affiliate.

Great question! There's absolutely nothing wrong with having everything under one roof and keeping your domain and web hosting at Namecheap. Mail hosting is optional, you only need it if you want a custom email like yourname@yourdomain.com.

If the domain name is for sale by a third party, you would pay the purchase price to buy it from them, then you will pay the regular TLD renewal rate each year - NOT the purchase price. There are only two cases where you would pay an increased renewal price: 1. The registry that manages the domain extension deems it a "premium" domain and charges a higher wholesale price to each domain registrar. This would have to be disclosed to you that it's a premium domain, and you could ask your domain registrar for clarification if you aren't sure. 2. The private seller is LEASING you the domain instead of selling it to you. This is a rare practice where you would not gain control of the domain, you would simply pay a leasing fee to the current registrant who would point the domain name to your desired location as long as you pay them whatever fee they ask for. But in 90% of the cases, you would PURCHASE the domain name from a private seller, and the domain name will be transferred to you. Once that is the case, you pay the standard renewal rate that everyone else pays for domains.
If I upgrade on Wix will I get to pick my website name? Will the process be seamless? I don't want to have to rebuild my website at all. And will I get an email address I can use that has the domain name in it? Can I get multiple emails for a few of my volunteers too? And how much would this cost? If I miss a payment will my entire website vanish overnight? What I like about the free option is it is free for life.

Hi . I have one question. On trustpilot reviews namecheap - dynadot have the worst rating , godaddy and ionos have the best rating. Now the question is where to buy Domain names ? Which should i trust ? I can't decide.
One thing to consider is that Namecheap has less than 1,000 reviews, Dynadot has 80 reviews. GoDaddy has over 17,000 reviews, IONOS has nearly 13,000 reviews. What does that tell us? GoDaddy and IONOS are asking customers to leave reviews. Namecheap and Dynadot are not. Consumers typically only leave reviews without being asked if they have a negative experience, so if you aren't actively asking your customers to leave a review, you will probably have a low review count with mostly negative reviews. I'm not suggesting you should or shouldn't use Namecheap or Dynadot. I can confidently say that you should 100% stay away from GoDaddy. At the end of the day, a domain is a domain. You can have frustrating experiences at certain sites, but thankfully you can always transfer your domain name out to another site and find what works for you. Don't be scared to try a place if it looks like a good option to you. You can always change later.

Dynadot is a great place to buy domains. Absolutely, you can point your domain name anywhere. WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc. If you hire a web designer, they can handle pointing the domain where it needs to go.

I always prefer a DNS setup that omits www. - note that www. is a deprecated subdomain system that isn't necessary on any URL anymore. I always make sure my websites support www. as a redirect to non www.
