    TODAT AT COPTHALL WE LOOK AT A PILE DRIVER SOME CURVE AND THE ORANGE MEN AT WORK
    A FAIR BIT HAS CHANGED SINCE LAST VISIT, to windy really hoping for some less windy weather please come on what's wrong with April she is soooo windy, hope may is nicer

    Yeah, the weather's been atrocious. Bit better today (Monday 29th). Managed to get the lawn cut. Nice curve, nice piles etc. I still reckon a simple cutting through there would have sufficed but I'm no expert when it comes to needlessly blowing taxpayers money.

      if the tunnel went to West Ruislip then I could see why, but its so short , cute but short, its going to be a "green space" when finished that's the only reason for all this tunnel business that I can see...

      @@SIMONC256 all the HS2 tunnelling and viaduct engineering techniques will be necessary in the future across the UK, Canada and USA...I think in a way, it was good to be "slow" by the UK in putting this HS2 together...now UK gets the best proven techniques for high-speed trains after decades of development across Europe in adverse construction environments (high-water, below, and above). The HS2 could run up to 225mph which is above the normal limit (200mph) of high-speed Bullet trains in Japan. Amazing !
