That Yukon is being treated well.
Just like it is supposed to be.
And another excellent video as always.

@@fondupot I used to have a Tahoe Z71 years ago when I was married and also doing Fire/EMS. Very useful rigs

@glenherbert7606 extremely spacious compared to the Canyon. With roughly the same truck duty capability minus the bed. And plus I have my Silverado if I need a bed. So it’s great for us

@fondupot Once your family expanded, sadly the Canyon no longer was ideal.
I used to be married, 4 step kids, 2 grandkids. The Tahoe/Yukon was perfect.
Now it just me Colorado Extended Cab is perfect.

    Was the thread tape required?

The tech manual states to remove any old thread sealer from the threads and apply new thread sealer on the plugs. The plugs had some sort of liquid thread sealer on when I removed them, it was all caked up and hardened, so I cleaned up the threads on both plugs and applied new sealant, as you see with thread tape. It's probably overkill but I'd rather it not leak. I've done GM transfer cases like this for years without any leaks or issues.
