I know this was 2 years ago, but this is great! I took notes. I'm just starting my own business but I am coming with a lot of years of work experience, working mostly in-house. This is wonderful. My instinct is to start by leaning into the industries I have worked for: Wine and Spirits, Non-profits, and Spa/hospitality companies.
Thanks man! I already got my product market fit, working on my brand position. I got real confidence after watching your video, now I have a clear goal.
Hi Sean, thanks for sharing these clear and actionable steps based on your own experience! I was wondering if you could expand on what a "clean" portfolio (5:05) looks like. Thanks!
I offer photo/video to small businesses…. But what do you do when you know that’s not going to be enough to grown engagement on their page? They will clearly have to put in work on social side… but that could have a negative impact of the the effectiveness of my work at the same time. I REALLY don’t want to and can’t offer social media management, because I plan to be pro bono for the first couple of months… at least.
@@georgealexender as a photographer and videographer, it’s totally fine to stay in your lane and offer exactly that. You don’t have to own the pressure of increasing engagement or KPI’s because that’s not what you’re offering. You’re offering excellent creative work, beautiful photos, and videos that have your creative stamp of approval.
